Over these next 25 days, the Articles Department will be bringing you their rendition of the classic Christmas Advent Calendar! Advent Calendars that we are used to usually have little chocolates in them, and I'm sorry- but there's no chocolate in these ones. We will be presenting a small little snippet of reflection for you to answer a couple questions too.
There are prizes involved, so the more you participate the more chances for you to win!

Today is Day 2 of 25.

To open the advent Calendar for today, click on the spoiler!

"Chestnuts roasting on an open fire, Jack Frost nipping at your nose."
My family enjoys being outside a lot during this season. Making snowmen, and tobogganing. Spend time creating an atmosphere that will be warm both inside and outside this year!

What is one activity you enjoy doing outdoors in the winter holiday? If you don't spend time outside, what is one thing you hope to do this coming Christmas holiday?

Post your answers in the comments below!

I enjoy going to see the Christmas lights being turned on at the city, like the giant tree in the center just lighting up and all of the buildings coming to life! I haven't actually done this in a while but I have fond memories of this when I was younger and I always remember feeling festive and happy :)

Walking the dog on Christmas Day. We got at about 11 just my mum and me and we see all the grandparents out in the park with little kids playing with new presents (normally scooters, bicycles or remote controlled helicopters). Presumably their parents are at home cooking christmas dinner but it's just so lovely to watch.

Again with the going into town. I love shopping, and the general atmosphere of everything. It's the one time where everything actually feels really calm and jolly.
