Over these next 25 days, the Articles Department will be bringing you their rendition of the classic Christmas Advent Calendar! Advent Calendars that we are used to usually have little chocolates in them, and I'm sorry- but there's no chocolate in these ones. We will be presenting a small little snippet of reflection for you to answer a couple questions too.
There are prizes involved, so the more you participate the more chances for you to win!

Today is Day 8 of 25.

December 8th
Tis the Season to be Jolly. Falalalalalalala
During this season, I think of the Advent and reflect on the things I am thankful for. I am definitely thankful for a lot of things; One being my family, and friends. Another thing I am thankful for is being born in Canada.

What are a few things you are thankful for?

I'm thankful that I have a home to come home to every day and I often think this after a long day of college and when I walk in through the front door I'm usually greeted with warmth and the smell of dinner cooking. I am also thankful for the opportunities that I am given, for example to go to university, because I know many people don't get some of the opportunities that I am lucky enough to have. I know that the home I have to come to and most of the opportunities I have, along with many other things, would not be possible without my amazing family and I am mostly thankful that I have them.
