View Full Version : [Question] Echo?

Whenever I go on Habbox.com and listen to the radio it always has an echo - whether it be on the song playing or the DJ speaking I can just hear it repeating itself. I use Chrome to listen to it, I've only noticed it on this (plus it's the only browser I can listen to it on).

I thought it might be due to the extension for the HabboxLive player I already use, but I have no problem with an echo with that. It works fine and turns out if I need it to. However, I've found that on Habbox.com I can't pause the radio, I can't edit the volume I can't do anything. Not sure if anyone else is having this problem, I've not put it in bugs as it's more of a question on whether others get it too.

I've had a few people saying the same thing to me when I'm doing a giveaway, so I just redirect them to HabboxLive.com. They always say it keeps freezing too :(.

Don't want to ruin my TOP RADIO EXPERIENCE by going to an inferior area but playing through the HxL link as I always do (rather than habbox.com) has always been fine and without echo, the only problem I've had recently was on wednesday (I think) I seemed to be lagging a long way behind like 10 seconds behind everyone else receiving but I assume that's a problem on my end. Never noticed an echo/reverb problem through the HxL site, but yeah I am very often on the waves* and not noticing any problems. Assuming the problem is with the main site if there is one at all
.

*not waves because it's cable

I haven't been able to listen to hxl through habbox.com in months. It lags out, I can't change the volume and it's always far too loud, I can't pause, sometimes it doesn't play at all and none of the buttons will let it play. Plus if I try and send a request, etc through habbox.com my page crashes.
Never had any trouble with habboxlive.com so I just use that instead.

ive always stuck to habboxlive.com because it generally sounds better and less laggy

I thought it might be due to the extension for the HabboxLive player I already use, but I have no problem with an echo with that. It works fine and turns out if I need it to.

Chrome extension sub-pages (Where the radio player for the extension is located) cannot communicate with actual web pages or vice versa.

That's why I prefer it :P.

However, with both my roles involving the Habbox site and using it to get some rare values, it makes it harder :(.

Smalll fear there, for a second I thought this feedback would be on my team Echo. Phew

Nah, I noticed this a while ago too when I was trying to listen through the main site and it was all stuttery and echoey and crap. I just assumed it was my laptop playing up as usual.

Im gonna say, ive had a few people say this to me too, it seems odd, even when im tuning into DJ's that use Sam Broadcaster (Newer Versions) they always echo, when ive been in a room on habbo they have asked why is the radio echoing, i just redirect them to the Tune In app or www.habboxlive.com/iphone , the iphone website works on Windows (PC), (Apple) Mac, Android and iPhone, Not sure about Windows Phone though even though i have one i dont really intend on using IE09 because it lags like ****, i use the tune in app and it works perfectly :)

^Probs went just a little bit off topic then xD Lmao

When I pushed the play button it fixed, but I still can't mute it :P.
