It just randomly start acting up the other day, I'm out of ideas.

Things I've done;
Restored to earlier point
Disk cleanup
Disk defragment
Check CPU / add more termal paste
Checked if cabling was lose (internally)

I have 12gb RAM so if one of the sticks died, it should still be fine. I'm starting to think it may be the hd or ssd.

Any ideas? Oh and both ssd nd hd still function.

Memtest over night, see if there's any issue with RAM, if there was I'd imagine it would be more of a BSOD rather than applications freezing.

I think it will be related to RAM, I would run some tests found online on your RAM if i were you.

Na its not even half way full, sure i did a factory restore last night and it was still choppy when it loaded.

Hmm its strange, I haven't switched my pc off since since memtest began and the computer isn't nearly as bad now but i fear restarting the machine :(:(

Cheers to all I'll try +rep if i can, if yous have any other ideas what it might be give me a shout plssss
