Skype won't flash when I have a message?

well actually skype flashes whenever i have a message from anyone EXCEPT scottish;
ive tried another skype and if he messages me there, it will flash but on my main skype it wont? it doesnt do this for anyone else
can anyone help me please!!

type /alertson in the chat then see if it works then

i got it sorted now, clicked his chat, went to conversation > notification settings. for some reason they weren't on :S
handy to know you can turn off notifications for chats if you're busy

yeah it's good for group chats when there's always someone talking and you're busy
