I'm not sure if this is the right section, but tech sort of fits into recording studios so it's logical...
Basically, I am slowly building a recording studio, both for personal use and to be hired out. Obviously I want sound proofing but I am concerned that using the foam tiles over all the walls will dampen the sound too much and make things sound too dull, I also don't want a 50% cover because the sound will be heard everywhere. I can't get the rolls of stuff which is supposed to be layered between two pieces of plaster board either because it's too expensive.
Has anyone ever had any bad experiences sound proofing every wall in a room?
