I often go on Wikipedia, your just sitting there and search one thing and then you click another article and eventually you've read page after page on related/completely unrelated stuff. So I wondered whether others do this, and how often do you?

And if you do, what areas on Wikipedia do you find yourself always viewing? So for example I always end up looking at Empires/nations/royalty/aristocracy/wars and related record pages. AKA historical pages which is my favourite subject after all.

I honestly think Wikipedia has taught me so much either directly as a general view of something or more broadly in that you'll read some pages on it and become more interested in whatever your read, ie the House of Saud led me to buying books on that mysterious country. So has Wikipedia ever helped or started an interest in something for you?

So how about you? :)

No, the only time I really use Wikipedia is if I want to look up movies (ie who's in it) or look up an actor or someone to see why they're famous.

Even then IMDb is probably better in terms of content but I prefer wiki layout.

I like to read about Directors and Films on wikipedia, lots of interesting stuff. I also like reading about historical figures and structures.

I mainly read pages related to geography and whatever I find interesting I open it in a new tab so I end up opening like 20 seperate tabs and then I read them one by one :P Happens everytime I'm on wikipedia

I end up looking into the deep dark depths of medicine or psychology. I start off looking up something fairly normal like a celebrity, discover they had some sort of disease, click on it, click onto something on that page, etc. Sometimes it gets out of hand.
