Because 26 films go through to the final list and we have 27 films with 2+ votes, anything with only one vote cannot make it into the final list. Anything with 3+ votes is through to the final list and 18/19 of the films with 2 votes will make it through. This means the final list looks like:

For us to select the final 18 films everybody will be able to vote to REMOVE one of the films with two votes (the orange list). The poll will be kept open for 24 hours. If multiple films are tied for elimination I will use a random number generator to select one for removal so that the first film can be posted on Saturday.

Tldr; Vote for the film you LEAST want to see out of all the orange films. Poll will end Friday at midnight. First film will be randomly selected from the final list and posted Saturday.

Because Alien and The Perks of Being a Wallflower are tied I'll use a random generator to decide which one is eliminated.

Alien = 1
Perks of Being a Wallflower = 2

Using https://www.random.org/ the number generated is 1, so Alien is eliminated and Perks of Being a Wallflower is through.
