What's everyone's obsession with kickers

Maybe someone on here can explain.... What is it with everyone wearing kickers? Its like a suddenly everyone has gone mad? What's so special about them I don't get it

I never knew there was any obsession with them :O? I just buy shoes I'm comfortable in rather than a brand (unless they're comfortable and affordable :P).

Didn't realise they were still popular but lots of people used them for school shoes when I was in like year 8/9

Oh I didn't even know what "kickers" were until you posted that picture :P I own a pair of shoes that look kinda similar but I've had them for years and years- I've had them resoled twice!

All the kids showing there age, I used to wear kickers when I was younger and several cheap shoe shops used to do their own make called brickers. I loved them, a lot of 90s brands are coming back into fashion again now, kappa, ellesse etc

I have a pair of Kickers that I got not too long ago, haven't really worn them though despite them costing around £90.

I remember they were all the craze when I was at school, I don't feel like I pull them off as well as I used to (maybe that's why I don't wear them :P).

I didn't realise they'd come into fashion again.

Anything recently in fashion had been in fashion in previous time periods, like the 80s and 90s. It's probably going to keep repeating itself over time and things that have been 'trendy' in your lifetime will probably be trendy again at a future point in your life.

Everyone also likes jumping on bandwagons, or thing something looks good or because a lot of people are wearing them or certain brands, they need to also to fit in.
