spam threads are like where drama and all fun stuff is going on, and thr has been a push for community staff to afvertise themselves be it onair o events using spam threads, making spam threads visible to public ie all guests can view it will get people to know more and see what a fun and mean community we are and get them to sign up

doubt it, wasn't it meant to be a 'priviledge forum' for people who are registered. and it's taken away from cautioned etc, so instead you could just log out and see everything. no


everything in spam should remain hidden from guests and public and only be available to habbox members.

no it wasnt for 'privilege' it was removed for spam bots i'm sure
i cant remember why papoy was removed from public view, i guess just to make it more private

when you're cautioned u can look at spam u just can't post in it i think? been a long time since i or anyone else was cautioned prob

i think I asked about papoy agesssss ago (why its not visible to non-users) and the reason was basically privacy^^

actually i remember i used to have to log out to see spam so i guesisn u cant when cautioned
i havent been cautioned since like 09 so dno if its changed

How about just making it private for guests... So they can see the forum, but not see the contents.

Jin contacted Forum Management yesterday asking for every forum bar staff forums, complaints, spam and become a Habbox Donator be visible to unregistered users. This was something to do with search engines indexing the content, so several other forums which weren't viewable before are now viewable and the spam forum and become habbox donator forum have been hidden.

This isn't a ploy to get people to sign up.


Reason why spam was hidden is that search engines have the tendency to skip over things which hit whatever thresholds they set for things marked as "spam". It really is entirely about SEO though I was unfamiliar that PAPOY was in the photography forum of graphics ideally that should be hidden, we will have to see what we do about that it might mean moving it into spam.
