That was really good, intense, but good. It showed the side of show business that no one really gets to see and how being perfect so you can become the best you can in your chosen field can ultimately kill you/destroy you.

Also Thomas was weird, I really disliked him

I've seen it before and rewatched it just now. It's quite good but some bits freak me out, particularly the bit with the fingernail peely bit (no spoilers it's ok) UGH! It was ok but I didn't really understand the point of the ending. I understand what happens I just don't get why?

she thought she stabbed lily, her competition when in reality she stabbed herself because she was her own competition, in the way of herself achieving her dream. despite potentially dying, it didn't even matter to her because 'i was perfect'

that's ****** up what

she was her own competition and she was holding herself back? does that refer to all the bits about how she was so desperate for perfection that she wouldn't let herself go like lily does so she couldn't be as good?

lmao yeah definitely, it's ****** up but very sad too :( idk if that is like the definite way to summarize it but that's how i have saw it and black swan is probably my most watched film ever tbh. but yeah she finally lets herself go and delivers the performance of her life that her wound doesn't even bother her because she's made it

I'll give it 3/5 swans

I thought it was a good performance but it wasn't really my type of movie

In regards to the ending
I see it as the showbiz world has destroy her and tore her apart to the point where she kills her old self so her new seductive and risk taking self can take her over. There are mirrors use throughout the film where the Black swan can be seen as an independent force that is separate from the perfect timid girl she is for the majority of the film and when she supposedly shoves Lily into the mirror it smashes and lets this force out and it signifies the black swan taking over. I think its representing how manipulative and self destructive it can be to be apart of show business, to be the best for a director and to make sure no one can take your role from you etc
