I think we need a little more information, what are you required to where and where to?

Omg totally spaced. School is where I got busted.

Our dresscode is kinda like a carpenter square. We put the square to our neck and it determines how low the shirt is. I learned today that even if I have a cami under my shirt, my shirt still has to meet the school dress requirements. My shirt didn't EVEN THOUGH I had my cardigan on and a cami under my shirt. Is this ridiculous or what? The shirt isn't that low. I'm not showing any cleavage or anything.

This is what our dresscode square LoOKs like: http://puu.sh/eCvS9/5f574cac10.jpg

I'll post a pic of my Square later maybe.

Do y'all have a student handbook or agenda explaining the dress code? When I was in high school, each year we were given an agenda (because things get updated) which included the dress code.

Looks fine to me though. Your outfit is soo adorable!

Thanks so much aha! And yes, we do have a handbook but the dresscode section is 6 pages long -.-

Here is a summary:
Excessivly short skirts, dresses, or shorts will be measured by the Dresscode Square. Shorts, skirts, or dresses that do not meet the requirement of the Dresscode Square will not be acceptable.. So on so on.. If with leggings/ jeggings/ opaque/stockings/tights/spandex/lycra/yoga pants/ sweat pants (or any other thin, tight material), dress/skirt must meet Dresscode Square
Jackets, coats, book bags, and purses are not permitted in the classrooms and are to remain in lockers (also hats)
Dress with pride - shorts that are too tight and too short and inappropriate tops show a lack of pride on oneself and the school, I.e. sleeveless shirts, see through tops, halter tops, midriff tops, low-cut tops, and low cut jeans, pants with holes (all holes must be permanently, including stressed jeans.) and pajama bottoms/tops or slippers are not to be worn at school.
Open toe shoes are not to be worn at school (Flip Flops, Sandals, etc.)
All shirts MUST have at least a short sleeve or more.
Our Dresscode Square is a right angle about 8" long when measured from outside and 6" measured from the inside.
Dress with respect for others - Clothing with sexual, tobacco, alcohol violent, drug, or occult over tones distract others form learning should not be worn.

Where the heck does it say anything about not being able to cover it up with a cardigan and/or cami????

If they're gonna be that strict, they might as well just have a school uniform, I mean measuring clothes... What the hell?

Dress code square what on earth? That's just ridiculous. I agree with Sian, if they're going to be strict they might as well have school uniform.

I totally agree with you guys. Like wtf. We were better off with just the fingertip rule! (You put your fingers down and if your shirts don't come down to your fingertips they are to short. or 3 fingertips for the sleeve length of your shirt)This is now just ridiculous. We all ought to just wear turtlenecks to school all the time -.-
