I'm on a diet at the moment so wish me luck during this stressful time of dissertation writing
I'm restricting myself to a maximum of 1500 calories per day, no chocolate or crisps or any junk and avoiding too much carbs. I'm also trying to do at least an hour of exercise per day.

ha we can swap. i don't eat when im studying or feeling any intense emotion. good luck tho :)
I just got this
you are not in any diet category
Your results indicate that none of the eating types we were testing for (Constant Craver, Feaster and Emotional Eater) are a particular issue for you.
There may be something else about your lifestyle or eating that causes you to be overweight, such as big portions, snacking, high fat foods, too much time sitting down, or lack of exercise.
Try keeping a food diary to note down when you eat and how you feel at the time – you may be able to match your food and feelings to one of these diet groups.
You could choose another diet, one that will fit in with your eating patterns and lifestyle, rather than whatever is top of the bestseller list, and use recommended strategies to help you stick to it.

I got the same as that :P
38% emotional eater, 37% constant craver, 25% feaster. I deffo emotional eat. When I feel moderately stressed or upset I will just want chocolate or a take away. When I am really anxious though, I feel sick, lose my appetite and don't eat anything. I can eat a bigger portion than my fam and still be hungry afterwards. Anyway for me based on those recommendations, I deffo prefer intermittent fasting. I can easily cut my calories down to 700ish and my body adapts to it quickly without feeling deprived.

Lmao I don't even think about food and sometimes go over a day barely eating anything, I do find myself impulse buying stuf that I think id like to eat at the time when I'm shopping though. And when I'm preparing meals I have to taste them and end up eating like 1/4 of a meal n cba to actually eat it when it's cooked. I like the visual appeal of food and the act of cookin but eating is an unnecessary effort sometimes.

Not in any category. But I'm underweight so that's probably why I don't fit into any of those three

Snake Eater
Feaster
Once you start eating you find it hard to stop. It takes more food for you to experience the same sense of fullness as most other people, so you are likely to eat more than your body actually needs.
Feasters may have low levels of the gut hormones that are released when you eat and tell your brain when you should stop eating.
By focusing on eating the right type of foods, you can work with the body’s natural appetite control system and avoid the need to count calories.
You may find that a diet high in protein coupled with the right kind of low glycaemic index carbohydrates will increase your sense of fullness and help keep your appetite under control, making it easier to diet.
