Apparently I have a Yorkshire accent, I don't think I do, but I've lived in Yorkshire all my life so it might just sound normal to me. When Max and I started going out he sounded very posh as he's from Exeter, but he's learnt some bad habits from me :P. I generally drop my t's which he pulls me up about a lot lol.

I have a Scottish accent and I don't really have any specific accent within that, but my grandmother was Glaswegian and I think I've probably picked up quite a bit of that from her despite not living in Glasgow at all in my life.

Then there's other parts of my accent that just seem weird... sounding like a variety of other accents. But if I had to pick any, probably Glaswegian.

Southern accent (US)! Sometimes it can be pretty strong lool.

Other accents I can do err probably some of the north. I've tried British and Australian...don't think they're good though.

I'm Welsh, but I'm constantly told by other Welsh people that I sound too posh.

Can't tell if people saying "i don't have an accent" are joking or not. We all have an accent from someone else's perspective but never from our own, so everyone does kinda have an accent. Unless u don't speak??

I have a Cambridge accent and i'm really self conscious about it. my family is (was???) middle class and I've been taught to pronounce all my t's properly but sometimes when I speak to other people I can hear how posh I sound and I hate it. when I read aloud it's really obvious and people point it out so i don't read out loud anymore.

Well coming from cornwall I expect that I have a Cornish/West Country accent, though I don't get told that unless I start talking really fast and then it comes out.

I feel that sometimes I go Essex as my mum and her family are from Essex.

I guess I have a "well spoken" English accent? Not sure what to call it. I couldn't do other accents to save my life.

Don't be ashamed to speak properly!

I have a neutral east anglian accent with a middle class twang which is quite out of place around my grandparents and some of my family who have strong suffolk or essex accents. I can reproduce any accent I hear and am particularly good with australian (perth) accents cos I had an australian tutor for english and have listened to tim minchin's song library at least 12 million times. working on my russian accent so i can appear more of a gangster.

I understand what you mean and I most probably do have some kind of accent, however I've never heard someone say something along the lines of 'Oh, you sound like you're from Kent'' or ''Are you from London?''. Where as with other accents I you do hear ''You've got a strong Yorkshire accent'' etc. I've just done some research into this and I think I have a 'Received Pronunciation' accent.

nope

the area where i live is so diverse and i hear people with turkish, jamaican, nigerian, irish, english etc accents everyday so there is no main accent

the accent of london/south east in general is very standard compared to other parts of the UK like liverpool, newcastle, birmingham, or the south west where you can tell where those people are from instantly

I have quite a neutral accent my dads English and my mums Scottish so I have a bit of a mix but I don't have a prominent English or Scottish accent. I moved to Dundee not that long ago and I've been picking up on their dialect

My accent swings between English (Eastern - so sort of posh?) and Australian.

I can't do other accents at all!
