Significant life events while on Habbo(x)

I was thinking about this last night - it's so weird to think about who I was 5 years ago and who I am now! I guess because of the age range a lot of people have the majority of their "firsts" while on Habbo/Habbox but it's really interesting to think about major things!

Since I've been at Habbox I've:

• Had my first kiss
• Had my first boyfriend
• Sly look ;)
• Got tons of qualifications, including grade 8 flute exam and University degree
• Got an offer to a great university, changed my mind and got a whole new career plan
• Lost my grandad :(
• Finally had an operation to fix something I was born with

and some other stuff I don't wanna share!

But yeah it's so interesting to think about major life things that have happened basically while you've been at Habbox, like Habbox was there before all those things and it was part of your life while it happened - some of us either deliberately shared it to get through and help us and sometimes it was just there to help us deal with it in the background... it's just weird to me!

Anyway have a think and post what major life things you've gone through while being here!

- finished gcse's, gone to college, completed college, gone to uni and almost finish uni (this is scary)
- passed my driving test
- turned 18, started drinking lots and now an alcoholic

HOW EXCITING IS THIS

• I also had my first kiss and it was a horrifying experience
• Was diagnosed with a skin condition that would be super cool if it wasn't also super painful
• Passed my GCSE's with flying colours despite not revising, same with AS Levels but more revision
• Got a dog yessss
• Got rid of my cat YESSSS

Those are all boring events but to be honest the really significant ones are not positive ones and I don't wish to share.

- a lot of stuff happen with my stepdad omg
- things like losing family members/almost losing them etc
- if habbox is around in the summer then gcses!

i left primary school in 2010 andi joined habbox 2009 so i wouldve joined in year 6
such a weird thought so i wouldve been a part of habbox throughout my whole secondary school life

off the top of my head

- when i first joined i was a 14 year old virgin and intended to say that way until i found "the one"...... but that didn't last long.
- diagnosed with SA, BDD and Depression and beat the latter two
- became an auntie and a god mother <3
- been homeless
- fell in love
- became best friends with an old friend


some god awful ones that i won't mention! but it's true, you don't know what someone behind the screen is going through. sometimes you forget they're human too.

Honestly just thinking through some of the stuff on my list and a lot of stuff that's not but I think a lot of you know about, I really don't know where I'd be if I hadn't had Habbox, and the friendships I've had from it, through that stuff. I definitely wouldn't have changed career without it!

i'm not really posting on the forum anymore but this thread relates to one i'm going to post later, so thought i'd share

finished school
repeated exams
started uni
fell in love
hit the lowest point of my life
gained a hell of a lot of independence and maturity
got a 3 legged dog
lost a beautiful life long companion (my original dog)
lost a few best friends, gained a few best friends
i've been through 4 jobs!

and like laura said, dunno what i would have done without habbox along the way

in which case i started secondary, finished secondary, started college, finished college, started uni and now almost finish uni.

oh and i gave one of my sisters away at her wedding and will get to do it again with another sister next year

Being here 10 years, the sad thing is, quite a lot has happened whilst I've been here. In fact, in September it will be my 11th year on the forum, and I'll be 22. So I can say I've been here for half of my life. That's quite crazy (and sad).

I've started secondary school, gone through and got my GCSEs, A-Levels, applied for my maths degree at Uni, gone through uni, got my degree, applied for Uni again and got in - currently working on my PGCE and applying for jobs now as a secondary school teacher after many years of hard work...

I've gone through school being the geeky ginger kid that got bullied and finally got my confidence, met Charlotte at 16, got engaged at 20, looking towards our first house shortly.

A lot of stuff basically.

Joined when I started secondary school?

Failed the first attempt at AS

Moved house three times
Got my first ever proper job that I quit a few months later but it was nice earning my own money
Went on holiday abroad for the first time ever
Started Uni
Now at 3rd year of uni
