VIP Effects

Hey everyone!

So we have some different VIP's coming out over the next while for lots of different things, some of which are multi-coloured. I know a lot of you hate the ones that we have brought out in the past so I'm here to ask you, what VIP effects would you like to see coming in the future.

Have a think about it and post your ideas in this thread! :)

I would much rather a gradient of colour rather than colours like THIS. As for effects I don't really know what's available!

I don't think we've ever had any stroke (outline) styles before?

Texture styles could maybe work, things like wood?

Animated shiny things (although might get confused with habbox god, christmas silver)

Would it be possible to get different fonts too?

I think stroke's quite difficult to do nicely with CSS.

I've been doing some performance profiling, a significant portion of the pageload are the rainbow/colour-changing effects, I don't think it's a good idea to start adding something that does both.

Okay new idea, get rid of multicoloured names.. you know.. for performance reasons.

Pixel errors (actual errors and inconsistencies, not me not being a fan of the base), some are lop sided (e.g. Union Flag), some are the wrong colours (Netherlands being the big offender in this category) etc.

One with a rectangle surrounding it would be cool, But I'd also like to see them have letters appearing and disappearing.

Technically, the Netherlands flag is correct. Just nobody knows of the flag to look like that haha

or just more colours would be cool, you don't want too much of the crazy stuff, the "members who have read this thread" section already looks mismatched enough

I quite like having the different fonts i've seen going around, the one I have (although it looks horrendous with my vip colour), the fonts chippie seems to be playing with. It adds so much variety :P
