well its been like a month now but yeh quite recent omg
if anyone gets caught with them now they just get pd though
weird that most school crazes fade out or devolve into violence n get banned. happened with yoyos with us where kids got bored of learning tricks so would swing them around n hurt eachother. my sister was into loom bands like almost a year ago

i thought that fad had passed. I only learnt how to do it the other week cause were doing a loom band challenge in brownies lmao
They aren't very big over here (or that I know of).
I remember Scoobies and **** bands too (might be filtered and if it is, the bands where if you broke a certain colour like yellow, you'd have to kiss them. Each colour meant something different and the black one was the worst?! We used to buy them from the £1 shop and this was 4-5 years ago lmao)

One of the girls I babysit is obsessed with loom bands and things she can make from them. She's going to secondary school next year and I'm concerned for her because she insists on wearing all this loom band jewelry all the time :S
We sell them at work, well, we did. It completely died out approx 6 months ago here (Manchester, UK).
Was a craze from America that died off a few years ago over there, same in Aus.

We had it about three months ago but the craze has died down an awful lot in all honesty!!
My nieces went through a phase where they absolutely loved them and had literally a suitcase size box full of them.
Grown out of them now I guess
Did my work experience at a primary school and literally came home with 20 different loom bands - the kids there were mad on them, I think 70% spent their playtimes making them!
peopel dont even make them though THEY FLICK THEM like elastic bands but theyre cheaper obv
