Fancy finding a rat in your house, let alone a bag of something you want to cook.

An Asda customer found a rat's head inside a bag of frozen spinach as she was cooking dinner for her mother.
Terri Powis noticed something unusual protruding from the greens as she began steaming a batch for her and her 60-year-old mother to have with their chicken dinner.
The 33-year-old soon discovered the foreign object was the 'fresh, pink' head of a rodent, wrapped in a clump of green leaves.

Basically, this is why you shop in Morrisons. Some unsuspecting woman found a beautiful rat's head in her frozen spinach; whiskers, teeth and all.
Poor woman, just wanted to eat it with her chicken dinner, how emotional.

When she rang Asda, they just told her they could provide a refund, and acted like it happened on a daily basis, but didn't want to take the matter any further. She was not a happy bunny.

Ever found anything quite like this in your frozen vegetables?

EUGH WTF THAT'S SO GRIM.

Reminds me of the mouse in bread from... tesco? and then a tooth in yoghurt from... tesco and something in a salad which I don't recall the news story for.

The frog/toad :P?

I've never really had anything bad in my food, I once had a piece of 'string'(?) in my crisps, but after complaining it was apparently a part off a potato. They gave me 2 £2.50 vouchers though as I did nearly choke on it.

I wish this would happen to me. Chances are it's not all that dangerous and would bank you thousands of pounds if you made enough of a fuss. Very vile, though.
Poor rodent.

It is pretty gross. The fact that it still has teeth and whiskers is so rank.

Enough to put you off vegetables :P A friend's mother found a preying mantis in a bag of ready to boil vegetables and partially boiled it.

What's worrying is that this is going to have further implications. Are rats running around the processing factories where this spinach is chopped and frozen? People may have eaten bags that have had rats touch the spinach, soiled and so forth without knowing.
