Indeed we do.

I've been adding some older stuff from Habbo and Habbox (but mainly Habbo) to the Habbox Wiki and I was wondering if any older members knew of any events, controversies or even well known people who should be inducted on the Wiki but whom newer members wouldn't remember. If it's an event or a person, they have to be of considerable note.... like for example I added pages the other week for the likes of Evolution (http://www.habboxwiki.com/Evolution), Nisus (http://www.habboxwiki.com/Nisus), Ch3rryBab3 (http://www.habboxwiki.com/Ch3rryBab3), Ecko (http://www.habboxwiki.com/Ecko) and a few others (http://www.habboxwiki.com/Chivo) - as well as an Aids in the Pool (http://www.habboxwiki.com/Aids_in_the_pool) page. All parts of Habbo history that will be lost once we older folk are gone and there's less and less of us all the time.

I realise a lot don't want to type up huge paragraphs, and can't access the Wiki anyway unless you have a cleared account... so if there's anything or anyone of considerable note you think is missing from the dead and buried past then just post below and i'll add it in time if I can remember something/if you can provide enough information on it. I don't want scientific proof btw, just y'know a short summary. Try and warm your brain up and think back to the old days of Habbo and bits and pieces might come to you.

Random things off the top of my head are the Habbo Council, the end of the Hobba program, that time a kid in the Netherlands got arrested after stealing a ton of furni. I remember the name Cheezy2 as well but don't know why.

Big Habbox events, Habbox losing official status, the help desk split (I forget what the new one was, I want to say it was PH or something?), when that copyright group tried to shut down all Habbo radios over royalties, the list goes on.

If you have specific areas that you're looking for more in let me know...I kind of just threw out what I could remember generally

Didn't Evolution work for Habbox as a moderator at some point? I remember putting something about him having sex with Callie in my signature and he threatened to have me banned from the forum.

So here's some other stuff I remember:

- HxTV!!! I think other than the manager (HotelUsers brother John) towards the end I think I was the only person left at Habbox who had any enthusiasm left for HxTV when it started its demise... I produced two series of Doctor Who and one series called 'The Fansite' (it was supposed to be a Habbox version of 'The Office'). Then when it was obvious the department was going to be cut soon I jumped ship!! (I like to think after years of quality programming (Habboenders etc) my crappy shows single handedly bought the department to its end!)

- The great 'class divide' when HC Only Public rooms were introduced. HC members would also start their own 'HC Only Parties' kicking out anyone not bearing their Habbo Club badge!!!!
- When you could take photos and stick them on your wall! - I had a whole wall full of 'Photos' but when I logged on recently just to see what was new I noticed they don't work any more!
- I don't know how to type this but the tune that always used to play when you had a new message or when you logged in and had messages waiting 'dum di duuuum' haha (I don't know if that tune still happens?)
- The Hallway protests...
- After Callie got Sacked/Left she joined another game.....Club Tropico or something? I don't think it ever took off though!
- I have a vague memory of getting really angry when I was HxHD manager because a rival fan site used to get their radio listeners to dress as bunnies and 'raid' HxHD spamming the room to tune in.... I think it was ThinkHabbo?

I'm sure there's more in my head somewhere!

Not sure if it is something to mention but back in 2004 there was a room called "Hotel Exit". It was an empty, unaltered room. After a few seconds of entering, a Habbo comes in and says something along the lines of "Would you like to see the exit?" and if you answered yes (or stay a few seconds longer - we couldn't work out how it worked as it was completely random sometimes) you would be disconnected and the password to your account would be changed.

It was removed in Version 5 I think when they bothered to fix some of the bugs and issues in the game.

There was the Callie and Impetuous scandal where both of them were the same person - though why Habbo itself didn't notice this I am unsure - or Callie removed all of her furniture which again breaks so many policies.

Habbos.co.uk was and always will be the best Habbo Fansite as far as website design, competitions and events go. Haven't been on Habbox Wiki in a long long time but it might be worth mentioning it as it was very good.

All I can think of off the top of my head which date back a bit too far for some to care :P

Do they do still do scam rooms? When you played in casinos etc. you'd look up the person's name and check to see if they had rooms made for them as "TRUSTED" or "SCAMMER". It was Habbo's very primitive version of eBay-style community self-policing.

Aloe.Vera is still active on Habbo. I spotted her a few days ago and we've had a couple of interesting conversations about her casino days.

I remember quite a few names that were casino owners:

Rae-Girl, ANNlE / Anneful, Affy / EU, BT, Btw, Ecko, Vodor, Ch3rrybab3, lLippy, Nyxta, BLuweesH, chivo, budy.

Anyone remember when Vodor owned literally all of the gold amber lamps on the hotel and around 2005 he was the richest Habbo worth around 1000t?

There definitely need to be more hall of fame pages for habbos like these that have faded into obscurity to keep their memory alive. Junius and ekyle also spring to mind for having the largest collections of typos and dinos respectively.

No way, I heard about this years ago because Nisus just seemed to have come out of no where with 2000t worth of furniture which rapidly grew to about 5000t worth of furniture at the time and then he just seemed to disappear. I could've sworn it was around 2009/2010.

Lol I had quite a few accounts on ClubTropica. I really thought that it would take off but I got tired of their stupid excuses of why they weren't releasing their client. As a matter of fact did they ever release a client of any sort?

I always thought Ecko and his buddy forgot his name hacked Nisus. I remember being in the room and they were like 'we got him'.... I might be completely wrong but yeah. Then I think Ecko got owned by Disembodied who then built the first Dino Pyramid back when Dinos were like 4T each?

Not sure on the details - I wasn't a part of the 'inner circle' of the Habbo elite back then :P

We've now got, and people can keep adding by all means, a gigantic source of information that we can create pages with and link with one another. I'll do more writing whenever I next have the writing bug/after the three essays + exams that are close approaching. A lot of memories in this thread, good times long gone. :(

i know nothing about habbo.com but i can fill in some of habbo.no habbo.dk and habbo.se.


Red cross buss: (Im not sure if this was on all hotels, but we had it in norway)
The redcross buss was organized by two habbos working for redcross. These habbos where called redcross and henrydu.
There would be 1 mod wathcing the outside of this buss, and 2 mods on the inside of the buss (henry and red). During these conversations there would also be 1 employee of sulake attending with technical support. Back in my days when i was a huge habbo geek i meet both henrydu and redcross irl and talked with them with some general problems on the buss. There where allot of que sneeking, bullying and scamming while these events where going on. Therefor they made the some changes to the event.
1. They got 1 mod to watch the conversations because of the bullying.
2. They added fences outside the buss and also got a sulake technical support to attend since the fences they added sometimes bugged, and allot of other things kept happening, like you couldnt go inside the buss, and some other minor buggs. The fences also keept users from que sneeking.

The dudeson visits Habbo.no:
The finnish stunt group the dudesons visits habbo.no for a day, where you also would get the chance to win a the dudesons dvd if you where over 16 years old, with their autographs. You would also recieve a badge if you attended the q/a with them.

Norways first official fansite scams upp to 200 habbo's. sol-hjelpesentral.no:
A couple of years ago the very first habbo.no official fansite owned by snip95.
This was one of the biggest fansites in scandinavia for many years until they where accused by sulake for
scamming many users and taking over their account with the passwords they used to register to sol-hjelpesentral. 3 habbos where to be investigated by the police. there where never any arrests, and the hacked users would get a refund, by the fansite owners and 2 co-owners. The fansite was also forced by sulake to close their fansite or be removed as an official habbo fansite.

Habbo.no,dk,se reaches beta:
All three hotels goes into a duo mode for 1-2 months where they get the ability to play on the new version of habbo, or the old one for up too 2 months. Several badges was given to the beta testers during this period.

Habbo scandinavia near going bankrupt:
The current Hotel manager of habbo.no (ladystarlight) gets fired allong with sever other staff members. The norwegian sulake offices located in oslo gets moved to denmark (kopenhagen) the danish hotel manager kimstar takes over the controll of habbo.no.
some of the habbo.se employees gets moved from stocholm to denmark, some of the employees gets fired. I believe kimstar took over this hotel as well.

This was a huge scandinavan event, also one of the first big events at the scandinavian hotels. Not much to say other than that, 1 badge where given to all attending habbos.

29.04.2015 All scandinavian hotels shuts down:
the last 2 years the scandinavian hotels have been pretty dead. After many staff changes the hotel's seemed to be doing pretty bad. After going semi bankrupt 1 time, and not recovering that well, it seemd like sulake where done with arranging events on habbo. This lead to the habbo user's got bored of the game and quit one by one.
Ive been a habbo since the hotel opend in 2004 and can say by experience that the hotels have been doing rally bad after some minor staff changes in 2013.
Ive been working at about 15-20 fansites over the years and i have seen a different side of the hotels than many other scandinavian users. And i have to admit, it's a good thing that the scandinavian hotels closes down. It will be a reminder for sulake that they have to do things right to gain activity, you cant just "dont" care and go "idgaf" mode against the users. And sometimes you should just keep it the way it is.
