Have you ever experienced limerence?

Based on Wikipedia, Limerence is: an involuntary state of mind which results from a romantic attraction to another person combined with an overwhelming, obsessive need to have one's feelings reciprocated.

I have personally experienced this around a month ago, and when the guy didn't reciprocate his feelings - and I was crushed into bits. I ended up going through a hard time (and I still am) after that because the girl he turned out to date is one of my closest friends (and the fact that she lied to me made it worse too) so yeah. So, I was wondering if anyone out there has sort of felt the same way and gone through a similar situation as I did. :rolleyes:

Not exactly, its just the fact that you're too caught up with the person that you don't even realised what you got yourself into.
