Once I found a bit of cardboard in a pot noodle. I also found a bone in a chicken dipper, haven't touched one ever since. I also found a weird hole in one of my cherries, looked like something was growing on it!

Aww he took Jazz on a date ;)?
I've found a piece of string which I nearly choked on (which later turned out to be a bit off of a potato) in some crisps.
We also got a tin of beans and sausage before that looked like dog food.

I was once using a food mandolin and sliced off my finger nail into a pot of stew... never found it and all the stew was eaten!!
About 15 years ago my parents bought a packet of chewy sweets from Lidl and I found a bent paper clip in the centre of one of the sweets. We got a free bag of sweets when we complained.

Piece of glass in a sausage roll
And my mum found a cockroach in a McDonald's burger once...
Fly in food is kinda common, not necessarily of fault of the establishment either. I once had a snail in my salad.

Can't think of anything.
Although I did once put my cup of tea down outside on the table, was about to walk away but saw something splash in it... poured the tea out and it was bird poo at the bottom of the cup. A lucky escape if you ask me there.

Why not?
Why not?
Very easy for a fly to fly into something when it's being carried from the kitchen to the customer

Surely that is the fault of the establishment though for having a fly in the dining area? But alas I probably agree with you, I imagine you couldn't do anything with outside diners either really.

Yeah you are right in the case of like an infestation or something but not unrealistic for one fly to find their way in :P
