Do you budget your money?

If so, how? Do you use budgeting software (e.g. You Need A Budget 4) or do you do it yourself through other means such as spreadsheets?

Do you stick to your budgets or do you typically overspend?

My boyfriend has made my budget, and he uses spreedsheets.

I def don't stick to it though, I spend far too much money.

I don't at the moment as I'm not spending enough to worry about having to.

I have no need to while I only work a few hours a week and am living at home. As long as I spend less than what's coming in I'm fine though. I'm hoping I'll be good at budgeting in the future because I'm not very good at spending and love making lists and spreadsheets.

Nope I don't need to budget my money. I don't really spend that much a week, apart on food on campus and transport.

I do some basic budgeting with a spreadsheet, but that's about it. Pretty good with money... for the most part.

I dont really budget I just try to spend as little as possible a month and at the end of it put it in savings

then I go and spend my savings

Not really, I know I have plenty in my bank but do try and keep spending to a minimum. As long as my wages cover the monthly bills I don't really mind. Probably should start using a spreadsheet again though as I have in the past because it is a good way to monitor what you're actually spending each week/month and see how to reduce it

no but I'll consider how long it will take me to replace the money i'm spending based upon how much i earn a week n how much I want it

aka today justified spending £51 on a calvin klein underwear set for ive wanted it for like 8 months and it's always sold out, n im getting £120 tomorrow anyway

I've tried to in the past but I didn't stick to it. I'm terrible for spending money :(

I've gone and set up a spreadsheet again now after seeing this thread, with all main expenditures accounted for I should have a nice lump of savings by the end of the year!

No but I wish I did. I think it would help.
