What is the best compliments you've received? How do you deal with compliments? do you feel awkward or is it something nice?

If someone was to compliment me about the smallest thing in person I feel really awkward and I don't really know what to say back. Normally it would be about looks, something like "oh you look nice"

Its nice to get them but it can be awkward depending on what it is I guess. I just say thanks if I get one. :P

Never really had that many compliments which is actually a good thing because I don't know how to accept them. I hate giving empty compliments as well. I feel like giving compliments for seemingly irrelevant things just makes the compliments I genuinely offer less genuine.

I get the odd ''You look nice'' compliment ect but I get really awkward I just sort of smile and say thanks
i was once picking my niece up from school (secondary) and these girls were walking past my car and said my eye brows were on point

I like your eyebrows.
My favourite type of compliment too. I pay good money (£6) for these eyebrows!

I get told I'm tall a lot but never take it as a compliment. It's always shorter people complaining about how I'm tall. It's just as much my fault I'm tall as it's yours for being short :/!
Or it's my aunts saying "My, you've grown. It's unusual for girls to get as tall as you." Thanks family.

Probably whenever it's about my humour. I always find my humour to be fairly dry and awful, so when somebody appreciates it (which isn't often), it's nice. I don't really know how I deal with compliments thinking about it. I guess it varies depending on who and what etc.

I used to find them a really awkward although if someone compliments my work then it gives me great job satisfaction and I really appreciate their comments and them making the effort to compliment me.

anything from tom can make my day, just that I look beautiful today or my outfit is looking good. love having someone to impress idk smallest thing makes me feel good from him
friends tend to say my outfits look good too n just that im a nice person
I hate being complimented so much. I don't know how to react, whether I need to compliment them back or just say thanks.
Over the past 3 years it's just been 'you've lost so much weight'. A variation of that was 'have you been sick' which I take as a compliment ;l

I have no clue how to accept them, so I just do an awkward smile and change the conversation.

I like getting compliments on things I genuinely try hard at, like music or poetry. Any other time it's just awkward
probably about how i dress or something which is always nice as i never really felt like i had nice clothes until the last year or so, or when i got my haircut from having it long and people said i looked better with it shorter idk
