View Full Version : What colour playdough did you have as a kid?

A simple question... because everyone had playdough.

My mum made ours and I always remember it being yellow from the yellow food dye she'd bought for it. Magic stuff was playdough. It always annoyed me when kids had the multicoloured sets (bit later than my childhood) or in school and they'd mix the colours up. WHY WHY WHY.

How about you?

LOTS OF COLOURS!!!! :D

I was one of the annoying kids that mixed them all together to create a crappy unrecognizable colour

It was multicolored, it was like a lgbt parade in the classroom.

Was good fun playing round with it, i will never forget the smell

Plasticine?

That's the stuff. Always took forever to make something out of it cos you had to warm it up with your hands.

Pink, red, yellow, blue and green where the main ones for me. I really miss that stuff, I'd still play with it now with my little cousins

Hard playdough that came in strips :P Like Dan said, you had to warm it up to actually be able to do stuff with it effectively!

Any colour that food dye came in, my mum always used to make ours. I specifically remember having purple because I tried to eat it one time and it was not tasty and got all stuck in my teeth :(

didn't all playdough come in strip like when you first got it but you'd just mash it all together?

wth i don't think it came like that for us, it was like the strips above, we'd mash it together then they'd tell us to put it in some container when done

All the normal colours and then any other colour you could imagine due to them being all mixed in together. Ahahaha.

I had the colors green, blue and yellow and I would always mix them together to make different colors!
