I have. I can't remember if it was in Cheshire, Lancashire or Wales but somewhere near home and they have the old railways still running with the steam or coal trains running on them. All rather good and they're so pretty rather then the multicoloured hideous things we have nowadays.

I don't think I have, there is one in my university town, which I have to stop my car for all the time, but I've never been on it. When it toots I get all excited like a child though.

Thinking about it, the only steam train I've been on is that tiny one that takes you into oakwood park.

Though have been on one of those model things at that run round Theme Parks etc!

When there was a junior club at my local heritage railway, that's all that used to run.

So yeah, I've worked on multiple :P

They're a ball-ache though, also ticking time bombs depending on how well they're looked after/who's driving them.
