What type of house do you live in?
Do you live in a flat, terrace, semi-detatched, detatched, cottage, castle or something else?
As a kid I always wanted to live in a horrid 1960s tower block (I have no idea why) and I always thought terraces were for poor people... rather bizzare really but probably from seeing old films with the tightly packed terraces and kids playing in the streets. Ironically nowadays, terraced houses are immensely popular and they're huge inside: much rather have a terrace than a modern rabbit hutch that they build nowadays.
We live in a semi-detatched house though.
How about you?

I live at the end of a block of three houses. The two next to us are two bedroom homes and we live in a house about the same size as theirs combined as we we have 4 bedrooms. Considering that it's a relatively new build, built in 2009 we have a large garden and decent parking. I always wanted to live in a Victorian town house.

Semi detached1?!?!? Do they actually have those there!?! Look so weird.. Really weird. No offense but... I don't believe we have them here in america. Wtf. I say I live in a detached house from the looks of it. Omg those semi detached houses. Just like looking at them make my brain hurt. I feel like just living in them would be a nightmare..? LOL.
Well. Actually I just googled. We call them something way different. Semi-detached. LOL. No. We call them duplex's. I don't think I have ever seen them. Ever. They look so confusing! What happens if like your neighbor has a party or something. Like. Idk. WOW. But nope. I live in the detached houses.

I could never live in a semi detached house. I think in like the middle of the night when it is dark I'd like go into the wrong side of the house. *barge in* "GOOOOOOOOD NIGHT!!!" *not my family* " oh ****" LMAO. Like omg.

A terrace is basically loads of houses put together in a big long line, so there's no space between any of the houses. But each house is essentially it's own building.
A flat is essentially an apartment. You have some flats within a building and there are communal corridors to and from each flat within the building.
semi detached house at my mums like
3 bedrooms but 4 with the extension
then my dad lives in a 3 bedroom bungalow whch is my fave

Technically speaking if you have a 3 row house, a space for paths etc then 3 houses, space etc, then 3 houses it's terraced too, so not necessarily :P
Both of my houses are bungalows.

Probably a detached of some sort. I feel like I have to be careful what I do not to disturb anyone either side of me whereas if I live in a detached I can pretty much do what I want, when I want. Though, living in a terraced house isn't as bad as I thought it would be.

I live in a 5 bedroomed, 2 baths, 1 shower semi-detatched house (our house is the highest point in our town too, can get a real good look for miles out of my bedroom window!)
