Do you ever use a brolly?

There's a stigma about men carrying brollies I think even though it's an incredibly British thing to do... so it's a simple question, do you carry one or not? I used a cheap Primark one for a while but I can't think where it is now... I think I will get a proper one though next winter when I have a job.

Yeah, I have a dome one so it doesn't go inside out when it's windy, it was £2 from Blackpool it's great :D. Rarely use it though, but it's in the boot of our car when we go out or on holiday as we spent many years forgetting about umbrellas.

I have one in car for preparation at all times but for some reason I always forget about it. They're normally crud anyway and flick the other way which is so bloody annoying cus it gets windy as hell here.. So just depends on whether I think to. Honestly if it's raining it's unlikely I'm leaving hah unless I need to

As the O.P say's there is a stigma about men carrying brolly's! Why on earth would any human want one anyway - most of the time they don't work or are lost (as I have found one the few occasions I have been forced to carry one)!!

In all honesty they cause more aggro than they are worth I think and only minimally save you from the rain - and if either a man or woman can't hack a bit of water 'til u get home ... well!!

My Mam told me when I was young I used to carry around one with ears and a face on it, even when it wasn't raining..

But Nope, now I never use them :P

I don't use one, I like the rain! I think umbrellas only look good with suits. Both girls and boys look equally as stupid with umbrellas unless they have the right style to pull it off.
