my family dont rlly have much contact with our neighbours LMAO, except for the ones living directly beside us. theyre an elderly couple with domestic helpers and the guy is wheel chair bound. its so awkward with them for me i sometimes wave to the man when i bump into them while going out and he will just stare at me creepily????? my parents hit it off with them tho lel (thy seceretly dislike them a lil as the neighbours talk a lot). on random ocassions, the woman will also bring us some food hehehe and also give us red packets during cny hehehe
what are your neighbours like?

My neighbor who died recently was horrible, tried to kill our dog by feeding him poison, meat with glass in it, fireworks chucked over etc. Couldn't really do much as you don't mess with people like that. Had to get rid of my dog in the end. All is great now, i think we may be the neighbors from hell.

My building is quite big but there's a few entrances so I've not really gotten a chance to meet everybody yet as we've not lived here too long. My neighbours who have their entrance right beside my door are lovely. They're so friendly and we always say hi to them. They've a dog too and the woman loves my small dog. They've brought us into their flat before to show us around too. Our downstairs neighbours just seem right rude. As far as I can tell they're not English but I don't know where they're from. They never say hello and just tend to blatantly ignore us so I tend to do the same. (A) Only time I really spoke to them was when I've held door open for the man living there a few times and he's said thanks. I've spoken to the guy who lives in the flat underneath me once, only to complain my dogs were being annoying :( which I hadn't realised, but sorted now. He's an odd man and never really leaves so I never have to see him. I've not spoken to anybody else in the building, but I know @pasta; has. In the building next to us I spoke to a man there once and he creeped me out because he kept asking what flat I lived in and if I wanted to come round :'( I accidentally let it slip at the time I was living by myself too!

i mean i honestly love animals and all but i hope it died

What the HELL that's awful!!! You had to get rid of your dog because your neighbour was being so awfully? That appalling!! There was nothing you could do?? I would seriously move before I got rid of my dog.
My street is small and we live in a suburban area so everyone knows everyone. It's actually kind of annoying if I'm tired on my way home from college and I get stopped by three different families all asking how are you, how's your dad, you're just home from school are you, are you enjoying sixth form, exams must be pretty close now huh. :/

We get on with our neighbours, we did fall out with the next door neighbour as she refused to fix her fence which her tree when it fell down had destroyed but the new neighbours seem really nice.

Then I'm pretty sure you call your council's dog warden service, not try to feed it glass

I live in a cul-de-sac, most of our neighbours are fine and friendly. There is one house hold that have about 10 cars and work vans which just clog the whole place up and are skanky chavs. So apart from that they're all wonderful, the postman always leaves parcels and stuff with the neighbours and as soon as they see you come home they're running over with your parcel etc. So nice!

The majority of neighbours in my area were generally ok a few years ago, but as time has passed, some moved out, and ignorant new ones moved in. Some of them would play loud music late at night, past sociable hours, their kids would constantly play football at the side of our house and constantly swear (and they are about 7 years old not secondary school age even) and when you tell them off for doing it, their stubborn parents come to the door and act like their children are angels and couldn't do anything wrong.
Our family have at times considered moving but then ultimately decided against it. Why should we move when they are the problem, not us. Thankfully some other neighbours complained about the loud music and we haven't had a problem with that in a long while, and the children have went away from our house for now, but they usually come back within a few months.
Also, our next door neighbour for some reason or another seems to dislike us. I'm assuming its because of our cats (which by the way never leave the house that often and when they do they go into a local wooded area so the argument of them using her garden as their personal restroom is out of the question). Anyway, one day I let my cat out to enjoy the rare good weather and when I was closing the door I caught her throwing a stone at my cat. She got a very strong worded response from me because of that.

If it is your private property then what can you do.
If the owners are selfish and won't listen then there's little choice. The same applies to cats.

Our immediate neighbours are alright and will speak to you if they see you. The surrounding neighbours are just miserable and don't say anything.

If a selfish neighbours pet keeps making your life a misery such as scratching your car, damaging property or ******** all over your lawn (especially if you have kids which is dangerous) then what else can you do? If people won't look after their pets or inflict them on others then they shouldn't have them.
And complain? it'd just be a slap on the wrist as usual. Some neighbours are out to make hell for their neighbours. The way I see it, if somebodies dog keeps coming on your lawn all the time and ******** and the neighbours don't give a damn, then if you just happen to leave out some 'special' dog food on your own property then that's the neighbours fault for allowing the dog onto your property in the first place. Maybe then they'll take notice.
Not talking about Richie here btw just talking generally as I do know people who have 'taken action' with neighbours pets who've made their lives a misery. :P

It's easier said than done, the guy was well known to the police, in and out for a number of things including guns etc

On one side are very sweet, friendly and polite. The other side are horrible and moan so much!
on the right hand side we have a really nice set of neighbours and the guy is a builder and helped up redo our old house and the mum has 3 kids who go to my school so if i go past they'll offer me a lift to school as well because i walk and they just drive
theyre genuinely lovely tho and if i have problems id prob go to them like when stuff went out with my stepdad whilst my mum was away i ended up going to theirs
on the left shes pretty nasty and hates us so just avoids all of us n is just a *****
she has nice garden tho lmao
then at my old house on trhe left we had really nice neighbours and we made a whole in the fence and me n this guy would climb into eachothers gardens n just play and sneak back if parents came
and then we always went ot the park together and played football
have dinner at eachothers houses
it was so fab and def some of my fave neighbours lmao and the dad also made our extension on our new house so was a lot cheaper than a regular one which was fab
fab people tho
on the right tho was not nice at all and just same as my current neighbours
and then house directly opposite they lied to the police bout our dog and so our got got put down and my stepdad was not happy AT ALL
he called the mum a **** for lying or something and then the dad beat him up outside our house
n then all loads of **** went on there
My neighbours at my college house seem nice although I haven't spoken to the much.
I used to be best friends with the girl who lives next door to me at home but we haven't really hung out since we were kids. Would always chat if we ran ran into each other or anything though

on one side it's a religious family but the guy is an ex policeman who is rly creepy. he gave me and my friends a lift home from a club we'd been to underage and the next day he fbooked me his number and said something like "you always seem so quiet but you weren't last night ;)".......... i was 15 at the time. other neighbour is a 25 year old single guy so usually got music on at the weekends and he's had a few parties but since apologized and haven't heard anything since woo.
We don't really know our neighbours. They'll smile and say hello but we don't really talk to them often. Their dogs drive us insane and yap 24/7 though.

Well we have fatty and smelly on the right and freaky on the left.
My neighbours are very like, nosy but nice. We are all quite close, like the whole street. We all send Christmas cards and stuff.

Our neighbours on the end house always have arguments, there are 2 teenagers living there with their mum and her string of boyfriends. You can always hear arguments and for the love of God they need to get a bigger playlist as it's just constantly Olly Murs and Demi Lovato - Up, or Taylor Swift - Blank Space. I don't really see them much only when she goes to the shop and I come back from work, the mum sometimes come in the shop where I work though. Pretty sure they use drugs, but not as often as our other neighbours.
The neighbours at the other side of us have a 2 year old son who cries a lot, they argue so much and have pretty much picked fights and threatened my dad on countless occasions. Told my dad not to come down off the roof of the shed or he'll pretty much kill him so my mum had to call the police - it's actually all fine now though and they're OK to us now! I'll be so glad when they move out though. They have noisy sex, and I get woken up in the morning to lines such as "It wasn't my fault I got dry, and after you pushed me off like that I obviously wasn't going to do it again." They are literally always throwing stuff, drilling something or just anything to get on our nerves though. The woman is the worst possible at parking and clipped my dads car when she had like 4 foot at each side - she offered to pay to get it fixed, but I'm pretty sure we're still waiting and that was probably over a year ago now! They reek of drugs, his friends come round and they have drugs. He parks his motorbike in the back garden so they have to come over our garden to get it back out too.
The neighbour after them is fine, my parents have known him years and never had a bad word to say about him.
And the others in the terraced house on the other end are nice, they're a lesbian couple with cats and they helped feed all the extra cats they had for a while before giving them to other homes.

Facing out of my front door, on the right hand side there's a load of students. Don't really care to speak to them since I know somebody who lives there from school and I didn't like them very much. On the left hand side is I believe 2 adults and a child who are pretty nice, all things considered. I've only spoken to them once, but my other housemates have too and we've never really had a problem. I do often hear the kid scream/cry etc. but that's just kids being kids I suppose and it never tends to last long.
