I don't drive, but my boyfriend's was £400 because he joined on to his dad's and his dad's fiancés policy and together I think they have something like 50+ years no claims.
If he had his own insurance policy it'd probably be over £1000 regardless of his age too.

First year was around £1.2k
This year renewal is like £400 maybe less.
My parents are named drivers on it, fully comp etc etc.

I'm not entirely sure. My insurance now is $1200 a year for a 2011 BMW 535i and a 2009 Acura TSX.

£600 fully comp. Thats the joys of having an older and cheaper car... until it breaks. Haha.
Mine was 1,560$

My first year was like 2500 I think for a 1ltr vauxhall. In my second year it went down to 600

You shouldn't go as a named driver because then you don't build up your own No Claims Discount
1400 euros so what like 1100 pound????? my car was worth like 3500 as well if tht matters

I can't afford to do it otherwise :P

it's also called fronting and is illegal. Insurers can void your insurance if they suspect you of it [emoji13]

My parents often use the car too. It's not like I'm the only one driving it so I think it's okay idk lol

all depends on who uses it the most I think. The person who uses it the most needs to be the main driver, when anyone else who uses it needs to be named
£530 a year, fully comp, Toyota Aygo 2007 model (this year is my first year insurance too) .
Before this year, I was a second driver on the Aygo I own which costed me £25 a year. :)

What is it with you as the main driver?
Think it was £1800, Second year £890, this year £505.
