Do you like living where you currently do in your own local area?

I'm talking local though rather than town or city. I love my area and even though it's classed as really deprived I like the character it has with the old Victorian houses, large trees, terraced streets and old street kerbs. I am close to the railway station as well as the shops and close to my friends so there's nothing I can really complain about. I'd choose to live here when I am older too as I have grown up here and all my memories are here.

How about you?

Yes I do.

I won't be here for much longer though.

There isn't anything here - but yeah ... why not!

Cool thread idea/idea for a thread O.P!

Where we live isn't the nicest aesthetically but is very handy. We're on one of the main roads in Bournemouth and have everything you could need, multiple shops like asda, coop, tesco, aldi, plus the smaller ones like premier. Petrol stations, train station, millions of hairdressers, parks right around the corner, dual carriageway around the corner, beaches less than 5 minutes away. Further down the road there's clubs and cafés, KFC and subway, post office, police station and fire station the list goes on

We live in a community area with like community shops and a pub and things which is lovely but it's just that little bit too far from the city which is annoying.
