Need advice

So I recently went on this date with this girl and we've been talking for about 2 weeks and I can't stop thinking about her... It's driving me insane.. I don't know if it's because I actually could see myself dating this girl especially when my last relationship was 2 years and I have hung out with different girls and I've never felt a connection like this one. I've tried everything... I've worked out, ran, walked my dog while listening to music, went on a ride and stayed with some horses and fed them. I then went home and tried to watch a movie and that still isn't working. I'm starting to think it's because I've been screwed over so many times and used as a second option most of the time. I'm sorry to go on a rant but I have no one else to talk to or get this off my chest.

If you want to take the plunge then continue talking to her, get to know her, figure out whether she feels the same. If you want to stop thinking about her altogether then lessen your contact with her gradually until either you or she loses interest.

it sounds like the things you've been doing to keep her off your mind have been things you've done alone

if i was in your position i'd need go out/have fun with my friends to get someone off my mind, being alone makes you overthink

I agree with you 100 percent but I'm going on twenty-one and I'm ready to settle down a bit, going out with different girls if getting a little old and I'm ready to be committed again like I was in my last two-year long relationship!

Me and my ex broke up after two and a half years. At the time it was the worst, now it's completely fine. Some people like relationships, others don't... Seems like you and me like relationships. So go get em' Tiger!

She does know, she also told me that night, but the next morning she was texting me weird and I asked her to be honest with me and she told me she doesn't want to get in another relationship anytime soon and she wants to have fun and "explore" her options. Phil;

Yeah very true, I wasn't going to chase her, It's just I wish she told me on that date that she didnt want to be in anything serious so I knew ahead of time... because I don't mind that at all but I didn't realize thats how it was going to be, I hope I'm making sense.
