Happy St George's Day.. well it's tomorrow but yeah.
What are you doing for it or is it just a normal day as I suspect? It's high time it was made a national holiday.

I did the same as I usually do before I left home last week, took down the Union flag on the flagpole and put up the St George's Cross..... when I get back on like friday i'll take it down again and put the Union flag up. I do the same for all four patron saint days across Britain.
Here's an interesting fact or two I recall that's related to St George's Day. Did you know that originally back around the 12th century the England flag was red with a white cross (colours reversed) which represented England in the crusades? And that St George is also the patron saint of Georgia which is named after him. The Georgian flag is also the same as the English flag, just with four smaller red crosses in each white square.
