I'm tuned into HxL at the moment and I'm really enjoyin the beautiful welshcake; 's show but she still has a really low number of listeners :(

So what makes you/would make you tune into HabboxLive?

I'll give some examples in case you can't think of anything: giveaways, specific DJs, weekly shows, a DJ who also hosts events on the client, etc.

I don't have time to listen.

I don't have time to listen.

It takes a matter of seconds to type it and takes no time to listen?

I couldn't tell you, but when I use to DJ in 2013 I would get 28-30 listeners it's just people are relating to different djs because of their giveaways

I don't have time to listen.

Can't you listen to it whilst doing other stuff? :P Listening to music isn't really time consuming? :O

I don't really listen simply because of the music. It's terrible.

We need a Johnny Cash hour or something.

All of the DJ's play different music and you can always request songs..

Yeah but what's the point in listening to a bunch of music that I don't like until they finally play my one request, when I can just listen to what I want when I want? Most of the staff (last time I listened) don't even talk during shows and just play random music 24/7. :P

I haven't checked Habboxlive in ages, so I don't know what's what, but from the last time I checked there was room for improvement. I posted more in the last feedback thread with a list of things if you can find it and want a read of it.

Things might've changed though, I dunno.

Spotify, sorry.
I tune into specific people if I'm nagged, or big events are happening. But thats it

Has to be a charismatic DJ, I won't bother listening in to music that I wouldn't always choose to listen to unless there's a fun party vibe to the show overall. There are more DJs now that get involved properly with the audience than there ever have been I think and it's good to know that generally tuning into a show won't be a huge disappointment. Also good to see the timetable filling up more recently which is great, even if it is sometimes just a few keeping the department up for everyone else

it's the music, i just don't like what they play.
i'd listen to matt/rhys again though, that was funny. but dunno the schedule.

I listen quite a bit and I do enjoy it! I think it's mainly advertising that makes me go onto a show, so if I hear someone say oh this person's on air or they're playing a song you like, or I see something in the CNB (like it's a special hour or something) in new posts! But to be honest I just go on when I wanna listen to new music.

it's getting people off spotify/itunes and onto radio stations in general!

Spotify, sorry.
This, when I can compile my own playlist with the music I love, why would I ever listen to any radio (not just HxL)?
For the presenter? Yup! I'm just not drawn to HxL for many presenters and even if I am, I miss their shows because I never look at the timetable (through ignorance mostly unfortunately)

Either more talking about something work listening to (either one person explaining something or two+ people talking) or cutting the request line in some shows and introducing me to music I haven't heard rather than the same set of songs played all day.

I'd probably tune into Habboxforum if it was less Habbo, more radio & possibly a talk show like sport or young people issues stuff, election, hey even habbo. like you'd listen to in the morning. I know thats a little lot to ask for a fan site radio but it'd be awesome.

I tune in for that reason too but if say, I want to listen to HxL when driving, I actually want to listen to music I like otherwise I would just listen to my own stuff.

It's clear that we all have our own styles and some DJ's prefer to play all remix music and stuff and that is really not my sort of thing.

Airing the General Election results.

Serious note, power ballads being played with no dj. Basically spotify.

how about non-habbo dj's that have gone through puberty? Realistically, that is probably what appeals more to users of this forum.

I have been thinking for a while about applying, would do a show talking/ranting about whatever I wanted and playing random music not just bubblegum pop.

You should start your own weekly debate show or something, I think I previously suggested that

We're up for doing this if Dan wants to! That debate did generate a nice amount of listeners and it was really fun so I wouldnt have a problem with making it into a weekly/monthly thing

Weekly shows that make a difference with people who aren't going to leave after two weeks and that's up to other factors that I can't be bothered to type. Basically, you need to create a creative plan of your ideal show, get a couple of DJs into a few meetings with management, hammer it out. Make shows engage on broad platforms and have incentive.

Another thing is delegate tasks or co-ordinator roles to Senor+. I can tell you one thing, HxL is still in quite swift turnovers in terms of staffing and with other events and tasks that radio management have to do, it's simply impossible for one person unless you have no life. Make a show co-ordinator, event co-ordinator. That way people will have other fun roles that they can take the lead role and show their leadership skills in. It just simply won't work with such a workload on Head+.

I've only realized this just now, otherwise I would have put the second paragraph into action, but I hope that these are suggestions with some merit.

It's missing a bit of dedication and fun! Let me bang some names out for you. Despect, Shonly, Izzyuhh Endergal, Danny.r.h2012, Jssy, Ozzinator, Yuxin, oldlovesong -DZ-. These people were hxl, going a year or so back. They always interacted with the community and always did competions. You always felt you could have a laugh with these djs, get involved with em too. Like if you make a comment on habbo they might read it out and it ends up being a funnt joke things like that. They were always good at getting the songs you wanted too which is key, a few of em played 90s which is fab. Key for me is FUN! thats what hxl needs!
