Particularly through your teenage years, relationships with parents can get a little (to put it lightly) strained. Do you think you get on well with your parents or carers?

This thread might also be a fun place to let off some steam about your elders too ;)

I get along with my parents really well they have been there for me when i needed them but also let my make my own mistakes and forgave me when i did
i just wish they pushed me a little harder through school it would of helped me quite a bit if they stuck the boot up and got me studying.

I have always loved my mother and my dad i got along with okay during my school years but it wasn't an till after them that i got to know him more as a person than oh hes just my dad
Turns out he likes smoking pot just as much as i do so many hours where spent just chilling and chatting

I get along with them yeah but sometimes my Mam can really get on my nerves lmao. Both of them are super supportive and I'm really grateful for them.

I get on fairly well with both of them! I can relate more to and get on better with my mum though.

I've started opening up to my mum a bit more recently, but my dad is still a ****. (To both me and her)

My sister is the closest person to me in my life though. Wouldn't trade her for the world.
