View Full Version : [Bobba] There's absolutely no point in appealing a ban on Habbo. Even if it isn't a bot.

There's no point.

Don't waste your time.

Don't get your hopes up.

These bans are permanent.

After 5 days of trying to get a response from these lazy jerks, I finally got one. This response pretty much ruins any hopes of ever getting your account unbanned. It seems that rating the support request "bad" and telling them that their customer support is crap caught their attention and sent a non-robot to "answer" my request.

The bot's copy/paste always mentions that it cannot determine the reason why the account was banned so it has to stay that way. Well, I happened to of sent a support ticket a few years back when the account was banned, and the Habbo support sloth stated the exact reason why it was banned in the first place. So I used this against Habbo, and what I got was quite a shock. The second pic has what I used as a defense. It determines the exact reason why the account was banned in full detail.

Thanks for contacting Habbo.

You should have appealed in the set time frame you have to appeal. Since the account has been banned for more than six months, it will not be, and will never be, unbanned. Futhermore, the account has been banned since 2011, so you obviously didn't want it that much anyway.

Yep. Even if they can "determine" the reason why the account was banned, they will continue to use the "6 months" **** as an excuse albeit without the "determine" crap. I bought some credits 6 times in one go through SMS, and I was banned permanently for "Suspicious Spending Activities". I'm shocked to see that I even still play the game, albeit for underground casinos that get me b& after a week or so. I just make a new account and buy more GB's off playerauctions or ***********.

Habbo is going to die in about 2 years. I'm calling it. The combination of the gambling being banned, all the Nordic hotels being closed down a few days ago, and the absolutely pathetic and appalling customer support adds to this theory. Most of the older players have left, and even the newer players grow weary of the game fast. The game dying is for the best imo. Without Casino's, there isn't too much of a point playing this game anymore.

R.I.P Habbo. You were once a fun and enjoyable game, but now you're just a sack of steaming crap.

It's a shame that about her reply and that you won't be able to get your account back. I can remember getting banned in 2005 and contacted Redtiz about 3 years later and she determined that the original ban was wrong and I should never have been banned in the first place. I actually think that this response you got is pretty rude and unnecessary.

I wasn't banned but had problems with my account and they're absolutely useless. I can't even be bothered with the hassle but they did lose a loyal customer.

I was quite offended by her reply also. It's almost as if the staff is too lazy to unban the account with the click of a button.

I can't imagine a member of customer support at any company being so passive aggressive and I've never experienced it from one at habbo personally but that's a horrendous response. "you obviously didn't want it that much anyway" ? Oh my.

I was banned in February this year, the reason was owning or promoting a retro, I don't endorse in Retro's or use them. I had the ban lifted after 2 months of trying...

Lets face it though, as we've all been saying for years. The moderation/bans staff are awful. I don't even see how you can get such bad staff - school children could do a better job.

Maybe that's something worth asking previous Habbo staff - why their moderation/ban appeal staff are so stupid/bad?

I think all habbo mods and queenof*****ba got laid off recently idk if the customer support is still the same (probably is) but you can try again test your luck

I've pretty much given up at this point. That reply scared me tbh. It just goes to show you that Habbo's customer support will never improve. That response she gave me sent a burst of rage to my head, and chills down my spine.

Because after giving it a shot the first time back in 2011, I thought Habbo's staff would've changed. Thing is, they did change, and they're worse than ever. Emily's response disgusts me.

The account was never unbanned despite Me talking personally to the Habbo staff member over the phone, and her saying "Your account will be unbanned within the month" which never happened, so I couldn't be bothered doing it again until now.

My appeal was years after the ban (like yours) and I still got it unbanned.

Is there no way we can bring their awful staff to Sulake's attention?

Although this has also been posted on another forum.. so may be the ban was deserved.

speak for yourself i got my perm ban removed by appealing. although i got perm banned again a couple weeks later

It's still the same.

My story:
My account got hacked and I immediately filed a request help ticket. I replied with the details, b-day, e-mail used to register, etc.
I didn't get a reply for 2 MONTHS! and they just said they could not confirm my account ownership, I was left baffled since I have every detail of my account in a notepad, including transaction receipts from the only 2 purchases I've made with Habbo. I kept replying to the request ticket asking what's happening, then after like another 1-2 months I get a reply saying something like, "It seems like your technical problem has already been resolved." I replied again explaining I never had a technical problem. After a week or 2 they replied asking me the details of the account again, so I replied with the details again. After 1 week they reply again saying they could not confirm account ownership. After a several back and forth messages of me asking them what's wrong they tell me I need to tell them 3 or something more transaction numbers, which I clearly can't know since I've only made 2 purchases on that account. By the time they actually replied, whoever was on my account made purchases in it. I explained it to them over and over again and eventually gave up since I only keep getting the same copy+paste response. But when you file a ticket about credits or some stuff about purchasing crap from habbo, they reply in like 1-2 days! Habbo Support now is more terrible than before.

You have to be a bit more persistent, 5 days isn't enough. You need to try for months.

I hear ya, man. This is the worst aspect of Habbo at the moment. Their customer service is BEYOND lousy its downright embarrassing on a business standpoint.

This year (2015) alone I've had:

- 2 unfair bans (1 I had to wait to expire after a few weeks, the other was given unfairly and took weeks to remove with MANY back and forth requests/spamming Help tool)

- Trade locked for 2 weeks for stalking someone on console who was in an 'underground casino'. They did nothing but point fingers at my actions. LOL
