Sense8 will tell the story of eight strangers (Smith, Middleton, Ameen, Bae, Silvestre, Desai, Riemelt, and Clayton) from different cultures and parts of the world, who, in the aftermath of a tragic death, suddenly find themselves mentally and emotionally connected– an evolutionary leap of technological origin. While trying to figure why this happened and what it means for the future of mankind, a mysterious and powerful man named Jonas will try to bring the eight together, while another stranger called Mr. Whispers and his organization will attempt to hunt them down to capture or assassinate them. Each episode will focus on one character and their story.

It is set to explore subjects that its writers felt science fiction shows tend to ignore or skim through such as politics, identity, sexuality, gender and religion.

Watched it all. Really enjoyed it! Screamed with excitement when I seen miguel angel silvestre was in it, speaking english!!! ahh He is in this spanish tv show called velvet and is literally to die for. I loved all the characters bar riley. I don't know what it is but she is so irritating and I don't enjoy her parts. I love how much they delved deep into the characters and all the diff locations.

Yea, we didn't really get anything plot wise until the end but I liked how we basically got a whole season just introducing the characters.

Yeah, it's unusual for them to spend so much time on character development. It's not a bad thing, just slowed it down a bit. A second season would be good though, it might focus on Whispers a lot more.

I finished this a while ago but the ending on the boat was a bit weird. Looking forward to meeting more sensates in the next series hopefully since these ones have pretty much shown what they have to offer. What is the black guy even good for? Driving? Most of them can drive.

Finished it today. That is one of the most confusing shows I think i've watched. Although it kinda makes sense, there's parts I don't understand.

I have questions in the spoiler but they spoil certain parts so ye:
- Who did wolfgang kill in that huge house, who was that, I didn't understand that part. His uncle? why did he kill his uncle.
- Now that whispers or whatever his name is, can see everything Will does, doesn't that mean they're all still vulnerable? I would've thought they'd have to kill the doctor to make sure they're all safe.
- I thought love within a cluster was the most dangerous thing that could happen, according to Jonas. Does that not mean Will and Riley being together is bad?
- I'm assuming Riley's child died, but what happened to Rileys mum and who was it that saved her that time with her kid (it showed a helicopter)


Are these questions something that will be explained is s2? idk i thought I might've missed something but those are some of the things I don't understnad.

capheus has been recast after having arguments with the wachowskis, the creators of the show for apparently being transphobic towards them. that's only a rumour though, even the actress jamie clayton who plays nomi has denied this but has stated that the cast are all happy about the fact he's gone! something big must have happened, his new actor is hotter but i'm not sure he's right for the fun kind of character capheus was though! guess we will see
