A recent thread by Empired about heartwarming stories gave me an idea for a competition. There are often a few good news stories dotted around social media where it really shows the best of humanity. I am such a cynic though because for this competition, I want you to find a good news story and give it an unhappy ending. The most shocking twist will win, good luck!

TL;DR: A boy started a new nursery, it was his first day and he managed to leave through a gate without teachers noticing. The teachers called the police and his mum, but somehow the boy found his way back home even though he was only 3 years old - he walked 1.5 miles home in 40 minutes and was found safe and was looked after at his neighbours (who alerted the mother that he was there) until his mother got home to give him a big hug and asked him about it.
This has a happy ending, but what if it didn't - it was a new school, he didn't know his way home and took 1 wrong turning on his way back, he ended up down a dark alley where rats roamed around, men lurked and grabbed him, he was kidnapped!
Obviously I don't wish this on anyone and I am so glad he was found alive and safe!
"What a gent! Charming moment young boy took off his top hat and shook the Queen's hand as she met Dubai royals at Epsom Derby" (http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-3116132/Endearing-moment-young-boy-takes-hat-shakes-Queen-s-hand-talks-Dubai-royalty-Epsom-Derby.html)
However, what the charming footage didn't show you was what happened a few seconds after this video was taken. The Queen, adorned in her yellow summer wear, took offence at the young boy's determination and charisma and out of absolutely no where, took him to the floor and laid 5 punches into him.
The amateur footage shows Mr Warren attempting to pull her majesty off the young boy, who then receives a swift elbow to the nose, thus breaking it. It is said that Mr Warren has overcome his injuries later in hospital, but that can't be said for the small boy. The British monarch unfortunately laid the fatal blow shortly after the footage had ended, when she chased after him and drop kicked him off the Royal balcony.
The Daily Mail has approached the royal office for comments, although no reply has been received thus far.
