[HxHD] Summer 2015 Layout vote

Hey all!

Summer is approaching, which means a change to the layout is in order, which I'm sure many of you will be glad to see as you have been itching for a new one. Firstly, thank you to everyone who submitted a layout to this poll and it is very appreciated. But now the time has come to vote in the poll above. Be quick, as it will close on Tuesday 2nd at 7pm BST!

I really dislike the first two. #1 and #2 are just... I don't know why, they're just so unappealing.

The #3 and #4 ones are simple but 100x better than #1 and #2.

1 and 2 looks soo big and emty.. and as earth said, we are only 5-9 people in the help desk.

well 3 is just horrible and 4 is okay nice and simple but IT'S SUMMER and that room just look like a 2 for 1c shop

Because if habbox wants to keep up with other fan sites and attract new members it's going to need a main room that doesn't resemble something 12 year old :jin: would have made back in 1986 when mode and iced were just coming into fashion. Whilst none of these layouts are perfectly designed there is much more scope for improvement in the first two than the others and empty space is easily filled either by decoration or the old fashioned way - through engagement inside and outside of the room and making more than 3 people want to sit in it. Afk seats and poor search features are part of the problem too but mostly it's empty because it's not a pretty sight and recent floor plans haven't allowed for users to firmly establish territory. By giving lots of different options for seating and by using furniture post 2005 it attracts people and offers them a chance to find their own space within the room and at habbox.

That's exactly what I keep trying to say. Retro designs might be nice for old forum members (who hardly even log onto the client so who cares) to get nostalgic over but it's completely alienating for new users. A new user would not understand why we've got all this clunky furni that, as zitrone said, can be bought in a 2 for 1c shop when popular designs on today's Habbo are innovative and resemble real life.

I already posted but I'll post again:

1 is just horrible and too big/empty
2 is full of furniture that doesn't match and it looks like a badly made valentines layout
3 looks good but might not look that way to newer members
4 also looks good but isn't bright enough for a summer layout

we need flyingjesus's layout, that is something that everyone -- old or new -- will enjoy.

I have voted 3 for now though.

Anyone who has seen my rooms will know I love nostalgia and old Habbo style rooms, but I really don't think 3-4 are appropriate for the Help Desk. Yes we may not have a lot of people the majority of the time, but you couldn't host SNQ or anything like it in that room. Summer is going to be when people actually come online or come back to Habbo, however briefly and you will not fit those people in either of those two rooms. And it's supposed to be summer themed, could you of picked the least summery furniture? It's not about being rich or having tonnes of rares, it's having a room that's fit for purpose. I am stuck between the top two. I like number 2 but 1 is pretty clever, it just needs something to distinguish the actual desk a little more because the older users were unsure where it was exactly, so new users too the room may find it more difficult to locate.

And to the guy who made the last two, I am only offering constructive criticism.
