Stowaway cat survives light aircraft flight

A light aircraft pilot got a shock when he realised he was carrying an extra passenger into the skies.

Video posted by Romain Jantot shows him taking off from a flight school near Kourou in French Guiana, South America, with a female companion.

The two-seater light aircraft then begins its climb into the sky.

The pair can be seen to be admiring the view, oblivious to the black and white cat that can be seen climbing above them on the wing minutes later.

I like how the woman was completely oblivious to it. Judging by the wing and where it was it should have been fine. The wind would be going around the front of where it was hanging on and not cause it to fall. If anything it was probably safer where it was before it moved. It didn't seem to bothered. It looked like it had been rudely awoken, went to see what the noise was, discovered it was x amount of feet in the air then became a little concerned :P

that poor cat haha. Once it lodged itself in between the metal it looked pretty calm and was just looking all around, probably in fear idk. I'd have thought it would freak out completely and went mental.
