IS IT NECESSARY TO OWN A TELEVISION? ARE TABLETS AND LAPTOPS SIMPLY MORE CONVENIENT? ARE TELEVISIONS BETTER?

i only stream shows after they air in america on my ipad so yes televisions are needed! how else will i watch this morning with tea and toast when i wake up lols :O

i honestly find a lot of tv shows so dull and boring. I managed to watch parks & rec online yday (i've been meaning to get through it for a while) n got through one episode of season 2 then was cbaa

yes it is personally how else would i watch my favourite live shows! watching on a small non hd screen is rubbish!

I watch most things on the laptop but there are certain shows that I will only watch live or if I caught it on tv & wouldn't bother searching for it online.

Can't exactly watch a show or movie with other people crowded around a computer without difficulty so tvs are important for watching with others.

All I really use the TV for is for my consoles or for watching something on my laptop and connecting it with HDMI. Haven't had a TV for about a month now and won't for the rest of the summer either.

I would much rather watch a big blockbuster move on my 55inch 4K Tv with cinema system then my 13inch macbook pro.

Yeah, it's not necessary but I really like TV. Sometimes I watch things online but I always get distracted and end up missing bits. With TV I watch through the whole thing and for some reason I enjoy it more as well.

That's actually a good question but I own my TV I just don't use it as much as computer I stream videos there all the time mostly the recent movies barely go to the theater neither

I use mine quite a lot. I own a lot of DVDs though so ... just annoying watching on a laptop imo

Well the only reason I use TV is for console gaming and streaming via chrome cast, but honestly I have 2 monitors on my gaming setup so that acts as a TV, I would say iPad offers as little TV.


Unless you me joy big screen TVs obviously.
