by laws here its actually illegal to commit suicide which i understand cuz human life r priceless, each one of them
but do u think u will ever be driven to commit suicide? have you ever contemplated it?
do you think it is legitimately INCORRECT for people to commit suicide?

no i haven't had those thoughts ._.
we should stop people killing themselves but what really bugs me is when you hear stories of people hanging themselves in their bedroom then their parents find them oh it's so sad
and people who throw themselves in front of lorries and trains how awful
i support assisted suicide for example there was sad story on emmerdale a couple of years ago and the mans mum gave him a drink to kill himself it was tears all round
after reading this thread yes

I have nothing against suicide. If people don't enjoy life, they never asked for it and they have a right to end it.
I am only against it if they have some sort of big responsibility - e.g. if they have children, they shouldn't commit suicide in my opinion, it wouldn't be fair

Yes same I know you must be in the worst possible mental place if you are driven to killing yourself but I do think it's unforgivable to throw yourself in front of a vehicle driven by somebody else as the driver will never be able to get that image out of their head and might even blame themselves for your death.

I'm basically the same as this
No I haven't.
But it shouldn't be illegal. You should have the right to do what you want with your life. If that means dying then so be it.

It's in an individuals interest to take their own life and it is entirely their own decision, as it is their life. You can view it as ""fair""" or """unfair""" but at the end of the day it's entirely their choice and I will stand by their choice in 99 percent of circumstances (the 1pcnt being criminals who do it just to get out of punishment).
I used to contemplate it an awful lot, but my emotional situation has improved drastically compared to several yrs ago and I no longer have those thoughts.

yeah I agree with this also.
I think it's incredibly sad that people think there's no other option left but to end it all. I haven't really known anyone who's been suicidal and don't really know anyone who has committed suicide so I don't really have a 100% agree or disagree view on it.

Absolutely not. I will never kill myself. I would risk my life to protect certain others, but never go out my way to die.
Incredibly selfish act... don't get me started on trains..
I think we are all meant to be on this planet at one point in time or another. We'll never know. I think those who end their life just have come to a point where they have no other option to turn to and they feel trapped.
Not that I support suicide, but I also don't go against it. Like said a couple times assisted suicide is probably the only way I see would be "humane" way to die.
... I don't know, It's really hard to grasp when I haven't been in that place where I would actually be wanting to take my life. It is a sad subject for sure!
