They're ok yes, I like the less scary ones, but then again I haven't really been to theme parks apart from Fantasy Island at Ingoldmells since I've been old enough to ride them.

I AM NOT A FAN OF ROLLERCOASTERS they are sort of scary but more than that I just don't really get anything out of going on them, doesn't thrill me or whatever so theme parks are a bit pointless for me

yea I love roller coasters
on my like 15th birthday we went to Oakwood and the belt got stuck on one ride, and another ride broke down for 10 minutes as we were at like a 60 degree angle

I am not a huge fan of them anymore. What happened at Alton Towers was a freak accident that has only ever happened recently out of all the years it has been open. You are more likely to crash your car going there than anything happening on a rollercoaster, if it happens to stop, it's detected something and it's a safety caution so that what happened at Alton Towers, doesn't. I am sure that it was human error with the Smiler. I went on a similar ride, made by the same people that made the Smiler at Southend. They had immediately checked their coaster out, but no issues reported. I really dislike this media campaign trying to Diss Alton Towers when ever they can

i love rollercoasters and all kinds of rides! i used to go to alton towers every single year but i'm too scared now :( maybe i'll visit a different theme park another time though.

I love rollercoasters, I want to go to more theme parks in the UK because I've only been to alton towers and flamingo land!! :(

Rollercoasters are ok and I kind of enjoy them but personally I don't think the 60min+ wait is worth the 90 seconds of excitement so I don't bother with theme parks.

yse i love roller coasters but all my friends hate rides and such so i've never been to alton towers or thorpe park so i feel like i'm missing out whenever people mention them :(

I hate rollercoasters. I don't like the feeling they make when you go down fast and your tummy goes weird. I like water rides though, and pirate ships and slides.
