Married at First Sight

Just wondered if anyone else has been watching this? It's on Thursdays at 9pm on Channel 4.

Basically they're matching up these complete strangers based on their apparent compatibility. The strangers then meet each other for the first time at their wedding, get married and then we follow their story for five or six weeks after that. Last night the couples were getting married and next week we'll be following their honeymoons.

I'm loving it and hope hope HOPE it works out for the couples as they seem so sweet ahh.

Also: do any of you ever think you'd sign up for something like that?

That's what I thought! I didn't really like Emma's dress tbh it would have been nice but that horrible fur THING on her shoulders ruined the whole look. Kate was absolutely beautiful though :Heart:

Emma and.. is it James? Anyway that couple seem more awkward and I can't work out what'll happen between them. I was so sad that her dad refused to come to her own wedding! I think they'll either carry on being awkward and end up just being friends (I can't see any arguments happening between them) or their relationship will build really slowly over time and end up being even stronger than Kate's and whatshisname's.

Jason ended up being an absolute ass after his 5 mins of fame, I like how Emma and James are doing it though.

Absolutely stupid series though, of course science can't find you your perfect match.

Not that I know of? One of the guys got caught out actually using Tinder when he was supposed to be meeting up with his wife though so she divorced him but that was it.

I know it was such a bad show but it was like so bad it was good??

Did you ever watch the bbc three show, the year of making love. It also matched a ton of couples through science and then watched them date over a year period.
