Eg if it's not a clip-on what trend is "in" at your school :)

I used to wear it like... not nerdy, but good enough to get away with.

I use a clip-on for work these days though.

I'm not at school, but when I put on my tie for work, I just wear it as normal. Skinny ties usually, fat ones look silly.

When I did go school, half clip-on, half tied myself depending on how I felt... I didn't have to wear a tie after year 8.

Never had to wear a tie! They introduced them into my old school but I think they were clip ons. I don't even know how to put an actual tie on..

Had to have a certain size knot and had to be against your top button. The size they wanted was tiny but you could get away with it if it looked neat

For us, the knot had to be roughly the same size as the skinny part of the tie.

noo, we had the fat bit showing, but the knot had to be the same width as the thin bit.

Always done a full windsor both on school uniforms and suits. I feel like skinny ties only look good with slim cut suits.

in my school people usually just wore it really fat/ugly and short
bc I was prefer my tie just had to be normal and long to show the school logo and prefect bit on the tie though so it was all neat and everything
dunno I wouldnt want to wear it any other way anyway just looks awful
most people had clips on though because our school liked to strangle people with the ties so they changed from real ties to clip ons

in my first years of high school i can remember having a fat ugly tie but as i got older i got a bit more sense and began wearing it at a normal length so you could see the school logo and also started having my top button done up.

Wore a tie in primary school and all the kids who thought they were 'tough' made the knot massive and loose with the length of the tie being really short. Mine was just normal haha

Only had clip ons in high school and I don't have to wear one anymore :3
