I couldn't find a thread on it, but I think it's definitely worth it.
Has anyone watched/been watching Once Upon a Time?

As I sit at work doing nothing, I thought I'd start a series, especially as I have so much time. But I think it's so good and only know one person so far who's watched it. :O
The first episode was in 2011 so I'm kinda late with it, but it's on Netflix and I definitely think it's worth a watch if you're looking for anything.
"Once Upon a Time" tells the story of a new world, one in which fairy tales and modern-day life collide. Emma Swan (Jennifer Morrison) is comfortable in her life as a bail bonds collector when Henry - the child she gave up a decade earlier - suddenly shows up. He is convinced that she is the daughter of Snow White and Prince Charming, who sent her away before the Evil Queen could cast a spell freezing the fairytale world in time and bringing them to our world. After returning Henry home, Emma decides to stay in town to keep an eye on him and discovers he may not be wrong after all.

there's a big thread out there somewhere, a few of us watch it but I think me kirst and thms were maybe the only ones who watched to the end of last season? some people stopped watching it and Ive been watching since the beginning so I feel the need to keep watching now.. There's some pretty good stuff, especially in the first season or so but god damn, some annoying characters such as Henry!!

Ooh! I've caught up on 3 seasons in the last two weeks and I'm midway through S4 xD
Henry hit puberty and I was just like :O WHAT, but yeah he is really annoying. At times I'm just like 'ugh kill this person already', yet they killed off the not-so-annoying ones D:

yeah we are the only ones i think, sexpot; Zealoux; and maybe Absently; do too but i'm not too sure, personally i said season 4 would be the last time i watched it but now zelena is a series regular and that whole thing with Emma is happening I'm so intrigued, I MISS HOW GOOD THIS SHOW USED TO BE! bring back mulan and ariel as regulars i say! i miss them and my bae Neal, ugly CaptainSwan grrrr

Aah Zelena got on my nerves at first, but the episodes she was in had me hooked at the same time! I am literally watching more of S4 as we speak xD I've enjoyed it a lot more than I initially thought I would

first half of s4 was awful imo I only really cared about Liz Mitchell as the Snow Queen but then the second half got sooooo much better with Ursula/Cruella/Maleficent ugh I DON'T KNOW ANYMORE, this show has me so torn

Yeah I'm on Ep10 atm and I'm struggling to get into it - but it gives me hope knowing it gets better :P
We have a thread on it since s2. S4 doesn't get any better im afraid lmao. V. Low expectations for s5. So not hyped for dark Emma.

I liked Neal so much. No idea why they killed him off of all the people.
Then again, I suppose it kind of does cause of Gold having less restriction, but still! D:

they killed him of for both fan pandering to captain swan and probably for ABC, during season three all they advertised was hook and i anticipated neal's death as soon as season three started and i was right! it's pathetic and ships essentially ruin every show and it drives me mad, especially with fan involvement, it just makes it so much less enjoyable because of the arguments over them
Yes and they basically ruined all of rumples development. His s4 storyline was actually pathetic!

I'm still going. Not groundbreaking TV but good escapism. :)
Was actually impressed with the latest twist but I know it'll be another letdown lol
I only watched it to see Neal die

yh they need to make this the last season tbh. Red; do u know when the first ep of new season is? i remember its in september i think
sept 27th! Their international base has grew so much now but think they will deffo have a huge ratings dip with no frozen to enhance people in.

I assume they think implementing Brave into it is going to have the same effect, but I don't think it's likely.
I think Emma is going to make a really bad dark one. :\
Well I just laughed at the patheticness of the last ep. Ginny as evil queen just came off wrong and I am sure this will be no diff!

It's a shame that when producers and stuff start running out of ideas and it starts going downhill, they don't just give it a good ending and stop.
It totally ruins the experience of shows when they continue past what they're capable of and it just turns crap and then dies or gets cancelled.

it's not even that they are running out of ideas because they're just trying to feed on the success of films such as frozen, most recently and brave. but there is nowhere this show can go without doing something we've already seen. they introduce a villain for a 9 episode arc, complete that arc and they disappear wasting characters which made that half season watchable. cruella is my latest example and it was how i felt with zelena until 4b. i can't even say pan because i despise the fact that he was rumple's father and i do not give a **** about that character whatsoever, so i'm not excited for the new season. jmo is a terrible actress, half of the regular cast are (except emilie, lana, rebecca, robert) and when even the writers betray the shows 'message' of hope and faith and all that **** they spewed before killing neal, who they clearly made out to be emma's one true love all for captain swan was such a big disappointment

bring back aurora too!!!! it's really annoying that they hinted at mulan's bisexuality and then she hasn't been seen since, waste of a great character who could have had great potential on this show. bring back ariel too ugh i was waiting since day one for her, i want her back so bad

yeah somethin actually promising for the show lol
it's says a lot about this show when most of us are only watching it now because we have from the beginning or out of loyalty for how we once loved it despite how bad it has gotten lately lmao
