Are there any roads in your neighbourhood named after people? Mainly famous people?

In my immediate area there's roads named after the following historical figures...

Prince Consort Albert (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Albert,_Prince_Consort)

Queen-Empress Victoria (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Queen_Victoria)

Queen Alexandra (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alexandra_of_Denmark)

Earl (General) Kitchener (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Herbert_Kitchener,_1st_Earl_Kitchener)

Quite fitting really given the area was Victorian built and very grand in its imperial heyday. In much the same way just down the road, I came across a street a month or two ago named after the first leader of the Labour Party, Keir Hardie (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Keir_Hardie), fittingly a post-war council street.

I thought what an interesting contrast not only in design but what the streets were named after.

How about you?

We have a road named after St Nicholas and all the roads round that area are named churchy things like spire close. Other than that I don't think we have, and anything not surrounding the area is called weird things like baker close and such

No, I think the closest one really is St. Thomas Road, that's about it and that isn't too close to me!
