I don't know whether people would be keen on this but here it is.
I think all posts in Spam/Forum games should count in some way towards post count. I can understand not wanting 1 post = 1 post count but maybe something could be done to add them? I personally don't see anything wrong with counting posts in Spam as post count as it's just a record of how many posts and in addition in some ways the current system can disguise the real active people/backbone of Habbox who may post a lot in Spam but who don't in the rest of the forum. It's a forum at the end of the day and a post is a post.
If not one post = 1 post count couldn't it be done to like a 2:1 ratio or 5:1 or whatever.
I don't expect this to go through though but just wondered what everyone thought.
A few years ago a separate postcount was suggested. I don't personally like either idea really, since giving any kind of reward for posts that don't contribute to actual discussions is counterintuitive and breeds laziness. If people want to post then they can post in all forums available and get actual postcount for it as long as they're not wildly offtopic.
I have more posts in spam than anywhere else :o

I think it should be left as is.

I agree; if some sort of post count was added for the spam and games forums would mean the moderation of the forums would need to be stricter; and one of the reasons spam is so popular is because it's a lot more relaxed in terms of rules

90% of the posts made in that forum are "pointless" or so that's why they don't count, with forum games it's a really easy way for people to mine tokens, post count (VIP basically with the top posters comp). It'd kinda be rewarding people who don't make the same contribution I guess.
The furthest I'd possibly suggest is maybe enabling tokens for spam and games (the new rule about token mining would come into force then) at a reduced rate (say, half or a third of the normal rate elsewhere on the forum). I don't even know if this is possible.
Plus, we'd have a good number of people who would then be either Forum God or close to that if we did enable it and I just don't think it's right to reward them when the majority or bulk of their posts could be completely irrelevant and pointless!

Yeah leave it as it is. If people wanted their spam post to count they'd post it elsewhere.
I'm proud spam isn't my most posted sub-forum.

Don't do it jenny!
I must say I agree with it being left how it is. I think if we gathered all of the replies in Spam, I'd say a very very small percentage would actually be worthy of contributing to post counts. Similarly, forum games can sometimes only require you to post a number as a reply and therefore we'd see post counts being inflated massively.
