View Full Version : Healthy Eating
Do you eat healthy?
Since I've gotten back to college two weeks ago I've been trying to eat a bit healthier so I have had no junk food or fizzy drinks. If you are healthy what sort of breakfast, lunches and dinners do you tend to make? I often find myself just making salads and if I want to snack I have a bit of fruit.
Just interested to see what everyone else eats while keeping health in mind.
on and off, depends when I'm training and stuff
I'm a super fussy eater and don't eat any vegetables at all, so eating clean for me is really hard!
usually however:
breakfast - porridge and green tea
lunch: 2 fruit (usually banana and apple) or cashew nuts, with water
dinner: 2 lean chicken breasts with calorie and sugar free BBQ sauce (http://www.musclefood.com/walden-farms-original-bbq-sauce.html)
post workout: protein shake
any snacks in between will be either banana and apple or cashew nuts
When I'm eating healthy I have oats, plain yoghurt with a bit of honey and berries for breakfast.
A salad with chicken for lunch and then some sort of meat and veg for dinner.
Snacks tend to be blueberries or peppers I stay away from carbs. Then a once a week treat of a panini.

Yes I'd say it's fairly easily, especially when I live away from my parents. Fizzy drinks have just naturally been removed from my diet as I have no desire to drink them, and I can easily control what I buy in shop. I also don't like to waste money, so I plan my meals up to a week in advance. I'll admit it's been pretty bad the last few days, but that's because I'm not one to turn down free pizza, sweets etc. but come next week my diet will be back to standard. Don't get me wrong, I don't eat amazingly well, just better than average I would say.

I used to be really unhealthy and only drink coke, but now I've found a fizzy flavoured water i like. I guess it's only slightly better though.
In terms of food though I'm sooo bad, my mums never home to cook me dinner so I have to either make it myself (which I'm too lazy to do), have a ready meal or eat junky snacks for tea..
At the moment my diet hasn't affected me in terms of weight but it's only a matter of time until it does
I live off mcdonalds & Fanta.
Like close to 5 maccies a week & 2-3 500ml Fanta a day.
I still weigh 9 stone & can't put weight on as hard as I try :L
i LOVE doing my own shopping and eating healthy
but im always hungry if im eating healthy and rly clean
nothing seems to fill me :'(

My diet is horrific.
When I eat the majority of the time it's healthy, but I only eat when I'm hungry which doesn't happen very often - so I miss out a lot of nutrition.
