So, my mum asked me this question earlier.."If you could go back and change decisions you made in your life would you change anything?"

I said that I would have gone to college a year earlier and done a different course but other than that i'm pretty happy with the choices I made.

Would you change anything about your life?

probably would have tried harder in school and did something more academic instead of vocational at college perhaps

I took a gap year between my two degrees and took my 'best friend' on three consecutive holidays with me to Lanzarote, Cyprus and then Porto Santo in Portugal. I paid for the entire cost of every holiday using the money I saved up from working my night job at Tesco. I didn't mind at the time because I really wanted to just travel and because it meant I had someone to go with me.

Each and every holiday was literally lush and so perfect (save for the weather in Cyprus, but no biggy) and we had an excellent time, every time. No arguments, no squabbles, nothing like that. When we got back, she finished uni just as I restarted it, and she bailed on me on a night out and left me in the middle of Camden Town looking like a right ****head.

I asked her what happened, and never heard from her again. This is a friend I had known for 9 years, never texting, calling or meeting me back because she couldn't be bothered to come out on a Saturday night. If she'd just outright told me that she didn't want to go out, I'd have honestly been okay with it. But she was a **** about it and decided to undo nine years of friendship because of it.

I'd definitely change that friendship if I could. :///

Inseriousity.

Probably did some more work experience/found a job in college/university so I didn't spend a year unemployed with good grades, no experience. Was not a fun time playing catchup.

I would have done a different undergraduate degree
I'm super happy with converting to more business based stuff like I've done now for my masters, but I just wish I did it years ago!

in my opinion i'd of tried harder at school, back then I thought it did not matter but going through today, yeah i've sorted my grades out etc in re-sits but it would of been 10x easier for me if i'd of just studied and revised tbh.

I wish I'd tried harder in school and kinda wish I'd done a different degree in hind sight but I don't think I'd be where I am now if it wasn't for those things? And I'm fairly happy with where I am now.

I think the only thing I'd change is a relationship or two that were in no way good for me (no, not habboxers)

I'd definitely have done different subjects in college (physics being one I would want to do).

I had the option to change schools in year 9 and would've benefitted me A LOT more if I did so in some ways I'd change that but I had such a fab time at my school because of how shit and laidback it was. I still came out with 3 (sort of 4) As, 4 Bs and 3 Cs at GCSE which arent even important really anyway which is enough to do my a levels.
Maybe not have picked art a level as well because I'm awful with art so who knows why I picked it and how I got a good great a gcse wut

I would of tried harder in early stages of high school and not just year 10 and 11, I'd also probably of chosen a levels and then chosen to train to be a chef after completing my a levels. I wish I tried harder last year to find a job as soon as I started college, I also wish I took school more seriously as I only started taking it seriously in like year 9, if I took it more seriously and actually put effort in I would of got better gcses.

Urmmmmmm the usual, wish I tried harder at school. Like I did AWFUL in AS Levels, I never went and didnt revise at all, everything would be so much different if I put the effort in.
I kinda wish I did my second year of ALevels instead of doing this degree but we'll see how it goes yh !!

I wish I never gave up on all my jobs like yeah I've found a new one to move onto each time but if I stuck with the first one I'd be so much better off!!

I would refrain from a lot of things that have ended up hurting people

I probably would have started my current course three years earlier instead of doing childcare

I'd probably try harder to tell my parents not to keep moving around the world. Like, its' been great but I've lost friends because of it and it gets a bit annoying after a while. I'd also have started the Uni course I plan to change to next semester, last year. Now I'll be at Uni longer because of it.

I would try harder to keep old friendships from fizzling out. And also get a job when I was younger.
