One thing I absolutely and utterly detest is dropping litter and dog fouling. I really cannot bear it and so I always say something if I see it. Any who quite recently we'd been on a night out and we were walking down a street in town and my mate said something to some girls walking past trying it on with them (so did another lad nearby) and my mate dropped some litter from his takeaway RIGHT BY A BIN. So I stopped and made him pick it up and funny I heard the girl say to the other something like "Wow makes a change, there's a gentleman". If i'm ever with a friend who drops anything I won't move until they pick whatever it is up as they know what i'm like about it.
ANYWAY it got me wondering if anyone else makes a scene/kicks up a fuss if they see dog fouling or littering. I'll say it because you know what it is utter and complete SCUM if you drop litter and especially dog mess. Some people literally have no appreciation of their local area or their country.
so yeah I wanted to say more but my keyboard is weird so do you say anything?

I must admit I do hate dog mess on the pavement and all of the dogs we've ever had have never gone on the pavement. Once we get to the dog park, if they poo in the long grass then I don't clear it up. I don't wanna be treading in other dogs mess either! As for littering, I absolutely hate it. I hate how people are so oblivious to what they're even doing and don't seem to even conceal the fact that they're littering. The other day I was walking to work at 5am in the morning and as I pulled my phone out of my pocket a receipt came out with it and blew down the road and I ended up running after it to pick it up, must have looked like a right lunatic. But yeah, I hate it, especially like you said when people are so close to a bin or walk past a bin. It's there for a reason! Even if there isn't any bins about, pop it in your pocket and dump it in the next bin or just take it home with you!
I don't normally say anything as I don't want my head kicked in but I do dish out a fair few filthy looks to people.

I don't say anything, but I also don't litter I would rather keep my rubbish in my pocket/bag or hand until I see a bin. It's really frustrating at work if I'm on First Aisle as it's our job to empty the bin outside (it shouldn't be, but it is). Every time I'm on the person from the night before hasn't changed it even though it's completely overflowing and people have started putting it on the floor - the only times I ever don't change the bin if it's like that is when it's dark (as you can't see anything as we have no lights outside) or when it's raining as we have to put the bag on the floor until we change it and we can't take it in the shop if it's leaking/wet.
As for dog mess, I haven't really ever seen someone leave it, I will avoid stepping in it though, but I probably wouldn't say anything if I saw it - although it is mucky and foul (ha get it?) I just don't think it's my place to say if they're in the frame of mind that they don't have to pick it up. However, it's not really bad round here as we have the facilities to dispose of it correctly with living across the road from a park.
Tbh I've never slide tackled a dog and I don't plan on doing so either..
But seriously I never litter and always pick up my dog's poo, can't stand seeing it.
I will avoid stepping in it though
Only you would think it's necessary to make this clear...

It's disgraceful, I always put my litter in the bin. I'd pick up after my dog if I were to have one as well.
I haven't really witnessed anyone doing this, but I see it on the ground all the time. Someone loves leaving their dog's near my gate every few months as well...Although, if I did see them, I probably wouldn't say anything myself - I don't like confrontations.

I don't have the confidence to speak up about it to a stranger, plus if someone did it in Leeds/Wakey and I told them to pick it up i'd most likely get hit xD
I hate it though, it's disrespectful and annoying
